Remarks

I am satisfied with the college and it is the best state government college of Odisha. Best placement and big campus of 100acre,good college to opt after iits and nits and other state colleges.Simply give ojee exam.

Course Curriculum Overview

Teachers are highly qualified and helpful. They have all done their Masters or Ph.D. Teaching quality is good. Being the first autonomous batch of our college we face many issues. The course curriculum is irrelevant but has been improved for our junior batches. It does make students industry ready.

Class Size: 44Course Fees: INR 215000 per year

Placement Experience

Around 70% of the students get placed in our college. The highest package offered was 24 LPA and the lowest was 3 LPA. Average package was around 5-6 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Accenture, TCS, Maruti Suzuki, Infosys, Wipro etc. Internships vary a lot as students do these on their own and not through college placecom. Top roles are network engineer and software developer.

Facilities and infrastructure of our college is average. Wi-Fi system is good. Except for computer labs, rest labs of civil and mechanical branch are very untidy. Classrooms and Library are small but useful. Hostelite sometimes face water shortage issues. Food in the mess is also average.Average campus life

Placement Experience:

Amazon, Google, Wipro, HCL Tech and many such which has been around for a while in the tech business and has built tech for many overseas companies too are the ones which have already started coming. I am in my final year and around 40% students have already been recruited and I hope before this semester ends, i too get placements.

those course curricullams at central university of odisha is thought fully designed ,offering a balanced blend of theoretical depth and practical relevance. on eof the key reason why students opt for such courses like int mathmatiss is the seamless academic progression and strong foundation it provides for research and comprdative exams. that curricullum could be more better as it can be more practical. what we are studing is like 80% theory and just 20% practical. so i do think that could be more better. the quality needs to be improved.

Placement Experience:

As Rourkela is a tier 3 city the placement opportunities are no as much as the tier 1 cities but the college still provides placements oppertunities with a decent amount of starting package of 4LPA.The college brings alot of companies for job and intership through it's long and good establishment in the city. The students becomes eligible for campus placement from 5th semester onwards as they have enough projects. Infosys, Capgemini,Dalmia,etc companies visited and highest package was 4.5 Lpa and average was 4lpa with 2 lpa as the lowest. Getting a MCA degree afterwards is most preferable for getting a better job.
