Remarks

Good teaching faculty, Better lab conditions, Friendly atmosphere, college has good environment,Natural atmosphere,Teachers are extremely cooperative, Fests are fun here, Biotechnology labs are really helpful, TEQUIP following labs

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus is tough for biotechnology as it is a pure science branch but nevertheless the teachers are really cooperative and Specially HOD of biotechnology department is really helpful in research work

Class Size: 24Course Fees: INR 76000 per year

Placement Experience

All kind of pharmaceutical companies with IT companies visit with a good median package like above 4.5lpa. Alumuni network is really good and they are always ready to help. Normally as our branch strength is less all students get placed.

College Events

There are two fests in a year one is the techno-cultural fest called Xtasy and other is a literary fest called Perception. Both are huge level and anyone with an I card and registration for minimal fee can participate.

Campus Life

Campus has good wifi coverage and Extremely fast, library has science and engineering magazines available, Library can accommodate more than 40-50 students, labs are huge in size and equipment are good and TEQUIP 3 certified and every lab has more than 2 lab assistants.

those course curricullams at central university of odisha is thought fully designed ,offering a balanced blend of theoretical depth and practical relevance. on eof the key reason why students opt for such courses like int mathmatiss is the seamless academic progression and strong foundation it provides for research and comprdative exams. that curricullum could be more better as it can be more practical. what we are studing is like 80% theory and just 20% practical. so i do think that could be more better. the quality needs to be improved.

Placement Experience:

As Rourkela is a tier 3 city the placement opportunities are no as much as the tier 1 cities but the college still provides placements oppertunities with a decent amount of starting package of 4LPA.The college brings alot of companies for job and intership through it's long and good establishment in the city. The students becomes eligible for campus placement from 5th semester onwards as they have enough projects. Infosys, Capgemini,Dalmia,etc companies visited and highest package was 4.5 Lpa and average was 4lpa with 2 lpa as the lowest. Getting a MCA degree afterwards is most preferable for getting a better job.
