Infrastructure and quality of education, discipline, sports facilities, extracurricular activities, seminars and workshops, senior and public reviews, past results statistics, councelling and guidance.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is good, but limited. It would be good if we were taught foreign languages and sanskrit also. Choice of subjects is limited.the elective subjects are already decided. English and history department to me is good.

I dont know because my subject is not a subject like commerce which is a human resource subject. So we dont have placements.

College Events

College week activities collide and even though we have many talents, we have to choose which ones to participate in. One person cannot take part in too many activities and hence miss out on opportunities of improvement.jam session is good.

Campus Life

Library only has the course books and very few outbooks. Sports facilities is good. There is pick up and drop facility and consideration is given for attendance in case a student misses class because of sports, but also, they do their best to help us keep in touch with our academics and what we have missed out on.

Placement Experience:

campus placements are okay, it is improving over time... averagely people get placed at 7-8 lpa and some people get placed at 12lpa. Many students go for off campus placements and there they perform very well. students have secured 22- 28lpa off campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It was not my actual mind to opt my major which is history, since it was hard to find open colleges late I had to adjust to it. It might be better since I had a habit of remembering things that are upto no use in the present or maybe better for securing jobs as it is quite in needy in these aspects. It's still not very clear in my part but it partially taught us the basics It gives us 3 hours of time per paper and it's not very different or very hard because it has been always the same pattern along with the portions

Placement Experience:

Yes placement's are there because it's a NIT From 3rd semester you are eligibile to apply for internship and from 7 sem you are also eligible for campus placements Many companies visit our campus for the placements some famous names of coma pansies are adobe amazon flipkart Mahindra infosys tata black rock etc and the no of offers made differ each year but the average of offers remains 150plus Highest package of our college is 51 LPA Which is bagged by a cs girl this year from Amazon and the average package also differ by the branches but for mechanics and cs branch a the average package is as good as 10LPA Percentage of students greeting placed is very good for the mechanical and cs branch like 95% placements are there and for others branches also 70% placements is there So placements is not a big issue in this college ???? My plans are simple Mai have to maintains a good ointer to be eligible for campus placements and get a good job and settle in life

The course curriculum in the college is good and i do understand but i have some problem in arthimetics and ststistic as i was poor in mathematics.My decision for choosing this course is in have interest in computer and technologies so i'm choosing this course as it is professional course i may get some opportunities in getting job after completting my study.

The campus of the university is overall average. We get packages around 10 LPA but mostly students opt for heigher studies as only 10 -20 percent of students successfully get placed My plans are for masters in technology after the degree . I have appeared for gate and qualified ans i would like to sit for councilling if i get in any good nit or iit

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is pretty much relevant specially when it comes to Education. NPE 2020 is in effect and every student is to allowed to take one interdisciplinary course from other departments. Teaching methods is mostly Lecture method however some professor prefer feedback and discussion method.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In UCC, earlier my brother and sister also studied and i could not make in Anthony's and Edmund's, so I choose this college. The allocation of college is one the best I have seen so far. It is best for those who want to be something in life because the college is little bit far from the main town and the local near this college also not allow any consumption of alcohol, drug, weed etc in the village. They even not allowed to sell them. I like this college as it is. So I don't want to comment on the improvements. The timing odlf exams is similar with other colleges, 3 hours.

4 yrs of MBBS LIFE 1 yr internship No such engineering like placement. Scopes of academic junior resident. After passing NEET PG , college quotas are available for NEET PG in department of Medicine, pathology , OBG and others . DM courses are available in Cardiology and Neurology

ST ANTHONY’s COLLEGE SHILLONG

I chose this college as its just 100 KM but the other one was too far. Plus was expensive too as I come from a middle class family. And the course in the other college had a rule that you can't just pursue music and you have to take 3 degrees all together. So if you take BA. MUSIC you have to take BA. PSYCHOLOGY and BA. I originally wanted to go to Delhi university I even got the seat but because of the delay of the Cuet result I had to keep my option open. I applied to maybe 4 college one is from my local place, the other one is b.booruah,st Anthony's and DU. But since my Cuet results were delayed I ended up in stb.Anthonys I got accepted in the other two college which I applied for but since st.Anthony's was my second option I came here. In st. Anthony's due to some network issue my acceptance mail was stuck so I had to come here in the college and talked with the principal after finally talking with the principal I received my email and my admission was done.
