Remarks

I chose this college because national testing agency messed up my jee score really bad.Vellore institute of technology chennai provides you with a lot of opportunities in every field. I have gained a lot of experience in almost everything and every field here. I am an a lot of clubs. Most important thing is there is no ragging in our college. Atmosphere is cool and green and seniors are very chill and fun to hang out with.I opted ece because i want jobs in gov sector related to engineering

Course Curriculum Overview

Course syllabus is a bit backward. No industrial exposure is not that much. Some faculties are amazing and some faculties are really bad. Some good faculties are: vineetha mam, geetha priya mam, ashish kumar sir

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 198000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement and job opportunities are good. Vellore and chennai students sit for same placement. So no difference there. Good companies come to this college you can easily get placed in your dream company but if you are an ece student you have to work a little bit harder. Overall placement department is good and placement records too.

College Events

Campus life and the friends we make here are awesome and i am a hosteller so its been really great my roommates are so good and we have a lot of fun together. I have met some of my closest friends here. The only bad thing is that girls hostel in time is too early.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students will be eligible without any backlog. Axis bank, Deloitte, zuilka motors , Maruti Suzuki I got offer letter from 2 companies Axis Bank and zulika motors Axis Bank offered for 240000/- per annum and zulika motors offered 300000/- per annum. Then I tried outside also I got even better package 420000/- per annum at Avias india manufacturer of stainless Steel and kitchenware. So I went with Better package I went for 5 months then I resigned the job for the higher studies

There are companies but the companies that were told that the good ones, they didn't come so much.. only a few companies that gave a package above 5 lakhs came in for my department.. the rest of them were either 4 lakh package or below it was not very good. even the 1 or 2 good companies that came tehy came for electrical.

The curriculum of each course is different and it is followed by the guidance of Anna university, we have several topics and it is under the regulation of 2021 respectively, I feel this easier to learn and there comes an opportunity to do what we learn in theory hour in our laboratory hour it will make more connected to our course, but there is lagging factor that is we are far away from the modern world and we need to put effort to compete with. The exams are not difficult and the frequency of the exam is quite manageable.

Students are eligible from 3rd year for placements and also who don't have standing arrears ,if they have standing arrears the clg management will remove them from placements and also the Placements are very poor . The average package is 350000/year . And the maximum package is 15L Last year nearly 100 students out of 180 in cse dept are non-placed , they are forced to write higher studies letter and submit in college . All of us know VIT for its flagship program which is B. Tech but its MBA program is too good as well. I gave the CAT exam and secured 85 percentile which helped me in taking admission at VIT.
