Remarks

Factors on which i selected this university is it's well educated faculty and it's infrastructure. JMI has one of the best Computer Science and Engineering faculty and later i experienced that the faculty is helpful also.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is best and related to what an industry wants. Syllabus is up to date but most of the faculty focuses on theory rather than practical. Faculties were amazing and i personally liked my Java and PHP professor.

Placement Experience

Placements and jobs opportunities are far better than other colleges. Like Google, Microsoft, TCS, Adobe,etc. Almost 60+ companies visited in my final year. Our seniors also helped us and guided on interviews and placement exams. Highest package was 41LPA.

College Events

3.5

Campus life is good. JMI also focuses on extracurricular activities and they organised many events also. The event was not as big as other private colleges or universities but i enjoyed a lot. There were many students from around the world so university organized many cultural events every year.

DTU FROM A FRESHER'S PERSPECTIVE

Placement Experience:

Campus placements begin in final or fourth year. So from 7th semester students become eligible for on campus placement.From 5th semester or 3rd year students are eligible for on campus internships with very good package. In Nsut all top companies like Google, microsoft ,adobe, amazon, flipkart and many more visit.Around 300 companies visit each year. Highest package in 2024 is 83lpa in cse branch and 18 lpa average.In cse placement percentage is 70%, and in ee it is lower around 40%.

NSUT- A rollercoaster but definitely must have experience.

Placement Experience:

After internship season gets over, placement season starts with starting from 7th semester. At the start a lot of good product based companies visit and gradually the package offered start decreasing. The placement season lasts for full one year and around 90-95% students get placed. I started my master's in Chandigarh University before joining Jamia. We have to clear an entrance for JMI. In comparison, it is much better than Chandigarh University. The fee for Jamia is around 16000 for the course , whereas it's around 1.5 lakh there. Then comes the professors. They are much experienced and better in Jamia.
