Course Curriculum Overview

The update was pretty fair. But I wouldn't say that it was thoroughly planned for the students welfare because the weight of the subject combinations in some semesters were too heavy and some were pretty light. There was an imbalance.I wasn't really provided with industrial exposureThe facilities were goodEnglish faculty was great

I really enjoyed my stay in my college, I met so many people and I relished every moment of it.Out of all the events held in my college I really liked the college week, it was really a highlight in my college life.The technical faculty is fair

Fees and Financial Aid

Sorry I haven't availed any. And when I really wanted to, I lost the opportunity so I don't really have anything much to say about this.

Campus Life

The sports infrastructure was fair. Wi-Fi wasn't bad but in some corners we couldn't really connect.Library is fair but it isn't really that updated for my department course and I faced difficulty in that I don't have much idea about labs since I'm from arts stream.

Hostel Facilities

I stayed in a private hostel in Shillong. Infrastructure isn't excellent but I really liked the privilege of getting my own privacy whenever I wanted it so I'm quite satisfied.The monthly fee is around 5000.

Hostel Fee: INR 5222 per year

campus placements are okay, it is improving over time... averagely people get placed at 7-8 lpa and some people get placed at 12lpa. Many students go for off campus placements and there they perform very well. students have secured 22- 28lpa off campus.

Placement Experience:

Yes placement's are there because it's a NIT From 3rd semester you are eligibile to apply for internship and from 7 sem you are also eligible for campus placements Many companies visit our campus for the placements some famous names of coma pansies are adobe amazon flipkart Mahindra infosys tata black rock etc and the no of offers made differ each year but the average of offers remains 150plus Highest package of our college is 51 LPA Which is bagged by a cs girl this year from Amazon and the average package also differ by the branches but for mechanics and cs branch a the average package is as good as 10LPA Percentage of students greeting placed is very good for the mechanical and cs branch like 95% placements are there and for others branches also 70% placements is there So placements is not a big issue in this college ???? My plans are simple Mai have to maintains a good ointer to be eligible for campus placements and get a good job and settle in life

My life in NEIGRIHMS till now

Course Curriculum Overview:

I took admission in MBBS in NEIGRIHMS in 2021. Through my journey of three years and more I found that the faculties in NEIGRIHMS here are veruyhumble and kind. All the professor are very supportive and Good to everyone. NEIGRIHMS is not like others colleges . I personally feels lucky very to study in these college. Teachers here are very humble and they teaches very good . The way of teaching is excellent. They also interact with us . They always help very students in their academics. NEIGRIHMS being a central college the professor here is also very professional and prove in very steps that they are so qualified that they teaches us very well. I am very proud to be here and feels very lucky. NEIGRIHMS is also very beautiful place and campus here is looks amazing. There is greehy everywhere and flowers are blooming everywhere. They really care about environment and plant many trees every time. The campus view is very amazing. Students should really come here and enjoy the beauty here.

ST ANTHONY’s COLLEGE SHILLONG

I chose this college as its just 100 KM but the other one was too far. Plus was expensive too as I come from a middle class family. And the course in the other college had a rule that you can't just pursue music and you have to take 3 degrees all together. So if you take BA. MUSIC you have to take BA. PSYCHOLOGY and BA. I originally wanted to go to Delhi university I even got the seat but because of the delay of the Cuet result I had to keep my option open. I applied to maybe 4 college one is from my local place, the other one is b.booruah,st Anthony's and DU. But since my Cuet results were delayed I ended up in stb.Anthonys I got accepted in the other two college which I applied for but since st.Anthony's was my second option I came here. In st. Anthony's due to some network issue my acceptance mail was stuck so I had to come here in the college and talked with the principal after finally talking with the principal I received my email and my admission was done.
