Remarks

No 1 private institution in Tamil nadu and well reputed one with mass placements and the infrastructure is great and the extra curricular activities and the surroundings are great. It is a best place for growth to ourselves.

Course Curriculum Overview

Best curriculum and academics and it has a ffcs system where we can select our own timetable and faculties according to our choice and the some faculties are polite and helps us alot for devloping our skills and etc.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Placement Experience

4.5

The placements are good. I think in chennai this is the only university with highest placement percentage. Nearly 800-850 companies come for placements every year. The placement percentage will be 95-100.

College Events

There are many clubs in the university where we can participate and we can shou off our talents there. There will be two festivals which is great one in chennai. That are Technovit and Vibrance which is a most celebrated among the students and every week there will be roleplays and dance shows inside the campus.

Campus Life

It has wifi facility and a three floored library with AC and a swimming pool and all sports facilities and a very big parking slot for students and faculties and a canteen inside the campus and gazebos and dominos pizza etc

Atmosphere and affordability

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students will be eligible without any backlog. Axis bank, Deloitte, zuilka motors , Maruti Suzuki I got offer letter from 2 companies Axis Bank and zulika motors Axis Bank offered for 240000/- per annum and zulika motors offered 300000/- per annum. Then I tried outside also I got even better package 420000/- per annum at Avias india manufacturer of stainless Steel and kitchenware. So I went with Better package I went for 5 months then I resigned the job for the higher studies

There are companies but the companies that were told that the good ones, they didn't come so much.. only a few companies that gave a package above 5 lakhs came in for my department.. the rest of them were either 4 lakh package or below it was not very good. even the 1 or 2 good companies that came tehy came for electrical.

The curriculum of each course is different and it is followed by the guidance of Anna university, we have several topics and it is under the regulation of 2021 respectively, I feel this easier to learn and there comes an opportunity to do what we learn in theory hour in our laboratory hour it will make more connected to our course, but there is lagging factor that is we are far away from the modern world and we need to put effort to compete with. The exams are not difficult and the frequency of the exam is quite manageable.

Students are eligible from 3rd year for placements and also who don't have standing arrears ,if they have standing arrears the clg management will remove them from placements and also the Placements are very poor . The average package is 350000/year . And the maximum package is 15L Last year nearly 100 students out of 180 in cse dept are non-placed , they are forced to write higher studies letter and submit in college . Even though they won't help for any placement side.

Life of an MBA at VIT

All of us know VIT for its flagship program which is B. Tech but its MBA program is too good as well. I gave the CAT exam and secured 85 percentile which helped me in taking admission at VIT.
