Remarks
It is a reputed central government's University. It offers better education facilities than the other institutions where I was selected and Architecture department of Jamia Millia Islamia is ranked 7th on the list top 10 vest colleges for architecture. I opted for B. Arch. because I was always driven by creative projects that architects get to work on.
Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus, teaching techniques, faculties and environment everything is up to the mark. I like everything about this University. Faculties here are very humble and cooperative, I'd like to specially mention Ar. Nomaan Khan who has been a guiding light for many students.
College Events
I am in the first year only, however I have attended quite a few international conferences here. The college fest was also very nice, using the resources they had, they managed everything beautifully.
Campus Life
The University campus has almost all the facilities a student requires. From sports complex to the wifi connection, canteens, library, everything is well managed. Jamia has recently completed 100 years of establishment and still it has a remarkable infrastructure.
Hostel Facilities
There are 2 campuses of girls' hostels, yet the number of seats are limited but the quality of rooms and meals is amazing and the charge is minimal. There are mostly 3 sharing rooms and a few dorms. Hostelers are taken good care of, with proper security.
