Remarks

The environment and the vision of the college which was provided while taking admissions. The education quality which was promised was intriguing. The college is also located in a very suitable place near the offices of some of the biggest IT companies

Course Curriculum Overview

The college syllabus is pretty up to date.One of the biggest positive is the college giving importance to the need of modern subjects which are important that provides an edge. The disappointing thing is the quality of faculties who lack in implementation of such academic ideas. Its not bad but again not up to the mark.One biggest disadvantage or advantage(depends upon the perspective of student) is the college is too placement oriented. Students have to study humanities in an engineering college for that. We hence start lacking in real technical knowledge. Placements should be byproduct of education not the primary objective of a college. This is a real boon or a grave issue. However you want to see it.

College Events

This part is pretty engaging. Lot of activities organised which help a student to break out of there comfort zone. This area is well diverse and lot of opportunities come up every month. This is quite important and is well maintained by this college.

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Heritage Law College is Lovely!!

Placement Experience:

Number of students who have been placed is far less than what it should be ideally. Kolkata is a paradise for law practice as it is the largest city of India and lawyers have always been in demand here. Still only 30% of the students are placed here and that's a big issue considering the name of our college.

Most of the students also get placement opportunities whether large or small package The opportunity is given to all degree whether it be bcom or bcom hons . Any student who does not get placed can easily use the degree to get a high paying off campus placements and to go to any good college or stay in this college for their post graduation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is backdated and should be improvised as it doesn't give any exposure of present industry knowledge. The frequency of exams is that exams are held after 6 months on semester basis and are easy to pass and majority of the students pass this semester easily.

Decent government college which needs to improve.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is obviously outdated and the knowledge we get through it, is bookish and does not apply to present industry methods. This way we are given no exposure to the real life industry knowledge. The exams are held on semester basis after every 6 months and are easy and manageable.

If you come to this college this college is good the teachers are friendly and you will get the campus from the college if you study hard.

You can take admission in UEM Kolkata through IEMJEE Entrance Test or Direct Admission by giving 10,000/-. College review

Provide decent jobs to most students. Faculties are helpful and teach well. You can issue 3 books at a time from the library once your library card is made. Classes are held to enhance your communication skills. A lot of items in the canteen and cafeteria. No ragging. There is no ground to play. Very strict rules, has a lot of restrictions. Most students call it a jail, cause you cannot bunk classes. But believe me, it will shape you into a good human being and you will also get placed if you put your effort.
