Remarks

One of the top and most reputed colleges in Assam. It is the best college for commerce. The faculty are well experienced and the environment is friendly. There is a scope of future here. Internship are available. Placements are available.

Course Curriculum Overview

It is average. It should focus on practical more rather than theory. The competitive world needs practical knowledge. So, they must focus on that. The syllabus is always covered with good teaching. But practical lessons are needed.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 18270 per year

Yeah, I did 4 internships till now. 1. Sparsh Garg Pvt.ltd as Brand Management 2. Aashman Foundation as Social Media Marketing Intern3. Amazon Influencer

Placement Experience

No idea about this. But I guess it would be great. Cause the students here are well knowledgeable. and teachers help them in getting out course knowledge.

College Events

It is great. There's freshers programme every year. We get DJ Night for BBA dept. All have fun during the programmes. The bihu celebration, the teacher's day celebration, cultural events and many more.

Campus Life

It was good overall. A/C classrooms. Digital class. And a large library for self study. There is college week for various sports held by the college. Students have lot of fun. Since it is a commerce college so no labs available.

My university

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am a science student and always been interested in medicines so this course is quite interesting and yes it's tough . The struggle is real as the class starts at 10am in the morning and lasts upto 4pm minimum which teaches us to be patient and deal with things nicely. Some subjects are quite difficult for me but the 2 sessional examination before the final examination really helps a lot in the preparation.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th year students become eligible for placement even many got PPO before completion of course. Khaitan & CO once visited in the campus , highest package is not disclosed , average can be 800000 per year . This year many got PPO . My plan after graduation to do LLM and prepare for higher level exams .

It is good but not the best

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always had a interest regarding business administration so i decided to take this course.This course will help me to gain experience regarding how a business works in the real world and also will help me to face the real skilled world. The teaching could be done in a more interactive way and also in a advanced way like using smart boards. Exams are held on an interval of about 2 months and their difficulty is quite moderate.

My opinions on PRAGJYOTISH COLLEGE

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspect that influenced me to choose this course is , computer science. I'm interested in coding and programming. The curriculum lacks in preparing you for real-world applications as it focuses on mostly theory part . The improvement they can do is , by teaching students practically more and theoretically less. Because coding requires practice. The difficulty level is average , so frequency and timing of exams are fine .
