The course curriculum was very interesting. We learnt about the nutritional aspect and value of food. It changed the way I had looked at the food before. Now I am conscious and aware about the nutritional value and the requirements of the body.

There is a dedicated career development and placement counselling committee. The information related to seminars, workshops or placement opportunities are put up on college notice boards. The workshops are conducted by reputed professional organizations like ICS, Aptec and Dreamzone etc. The seminars are conducted to make the students interview ready.

Our college organises an annual sports day where winners are awarded prizes. There is an unit of NSS which organises campaigns related to social issues like first aid training drive, drive against illiteracy and campaign for environmental awareness. Our college also organises annual excursion program and the departments organise their excursion trips regularly. There is a self defence cell to train the students so that they can protect themselves in the face of danger. Besides these, cultural competitions are organised on important occasions like rabindra jayanti.

The fee structure is nominal. The fee charged for my course is around 7,000 rupees a year which is a very small amount. The fee amount is such that it can afforded by every person irrespective of the financial status. The facilities provided at such a low cost are also very good.

The infrastructure of our college is decent and well conserved. There are well equipped labs for computer science and IT, Food and nutrition, geography and psychology courses. The classrooms are spacious and comfortable. There is a canteen where students can take a break. The libraries have a rich resource collection. Our college focusses on all round development of the students. For this purpose, yoga classes are held on regular basis so that students can release their stress.

The admission is granted on the basis of merit secured in class 12. The admission is through online medium only. No offline applications would be entertained. The merit list will be prepares by the college on the basis of marks submitted through the online application form.

The college faculty members were well educated, disciplined and dedicated. Some of them have worked as a nutritionist in top hospitals. Many of them had several years of teaching experience. They were supportive and also guided us regarding our career paths.
