Remarks

INIFD is one of the renowned college in our country, however Chandigarh's branch is near my hometown which made me choose this branch. In terms of both educational activity and practical it offers the best package.

Course Curriculum Overview

We had hands on exposure on Drafting and Pattern Making, Study and Structure of Apparel Industry, Technical Fashion Sketches, Advance Tailoring Techniques, Textiles and Embroidery. Overall we gained a lot from our faculties.

Course Fees: INR 164000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement cell is not yet established in our campus however we can always work hard to level up ourselves, our faculties have always guided us in such situations. Our curriculum focuses more on enhancement of our skills and having our own startups.

College Events

Our college organizes various industrial visits, and also INIFD is the only student organization associated with this prestigious project of IMG Reliance. Apart from this we also have workshops and events where we can showcase our creativity.

Campus Life

The campus is beautifully structured and huge as well. All facilities like wi-fi cafeterias, library are available for both faculties and students. The prodigious hall within the campus allows us to present our workings in a vivid platform.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1. Flexibility of course and type it has to be done . For further academic pursuits definitely yes but for real world application as of now except computer application there is no real world application of this as of physics it is more derivation type topic is covered in the first semester as of now. I course should be designed to prepare for real world application not the old school craming and derivation type. Exam happen twice a year in april and in novembor-december and of moderate level

First SEM Experience

Placement Experience:

Around 80-90% of the students get placed in my course. The average package is 3LPA - 5LPA. This college has a decent placement record. The highest package offered is 7.6LPA. Companies like Google , Deloitte , Amazon , Infosys , Wipro , etc. come to the campus to pick excellent students for their company. The college also has a dedicated placement cell which helps the students to prepare for placements.

This college has decently good packages both the average package and median packages as well as almost 80 percent studnets are placed before the 4th year ends...if I talk about my branch the median was 11 lpa and almost 90 students were palced out of 120 in 2024

Placement Experience:

The placement process is began and ended only in third semester as forth semester is for internship. Mostly the companies from tricity visits here like edifecs, chicmic, inno8 etc. MCA students from PU Chandigarh, regional center (Hoshiarpur and Muktsar) students and MSC students sit together for the placements. The highest package from last year was 17 LPA and this year till date is 7.25 LPA. Average package is 4LPA.

My Honest Review for P.U.

Placement Experience:

The semester in which students are eligible for campus placements vary from department to department. In my course, students are eligible for campus placements in their 3rd semester. For the 2022-24 batch, 17 companies visited the department for placement which includes American express, josh, mediatek and more tri City companies. The highest package was offered to a student by mediatek of 17 lpa. 63 % of the students gets placed from previous batch. I am planning to get a descent placement after the degree.

This college is the best college in northern punjab. Also my house is near to this college.The placement for nurses are best. Education is best quality. Best practical knowledge.
