Remarks

I had an amazing three year at the college. I always dreamt of becoming an interior designer. I realised it here. The faculty is awesome. The environment is so conducive to produce great design talents and I savoured eech moment of my time here.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is designed in collaboration with Indian institute of interior designers. The course is focussed on making the students equipped with all the tools so that they create modern spaces that meets the needs of today's clients.

Placement Experience

Most design institutes do not have a placement cell. This is the case in our college as well but we are given assistance and guidance about the job opportunities. Some students are also recommended by the college for different firms.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total fees is Rs 63,000 which is very feasible. I have seen the course fees for many colleges goes into several lakhs for similar courses. Even then, the facilties is our college is par excellence.

Campus Life

The college sends us to various design festivals, workshops and shows in India and abroad. We celebrate many regional, cultural and national festivals. The students also organize various sports events.

Admission

I got admission in the college after clearing my 10+2. The requirement was that the candidate must have at least 50% marks in science stream. The application process is online as well as offline but I did it online.

Faculty

The faculty is so much experienced. They are dedicated to guide us in the proper direction. They have their post graduations in the subject and have many years of teaching experience in the field. They are always available for assistance.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1. Flexibility of course and type it has to be done . For further academic pursuits definitely yes but for real world application as of now except computer application there is no real world application of this as of physics it is more derivation type topic is covered in the first semester as of now. I course should be designed to prepare for real world application not the old school craming and derivation type. Exam happen twice a year in april and in novembor-december and of moderate level

First SEM Experience

Placement Experience:

Around 80-90% of the students get placed in my course. The average package is 3LPA - 5LPA. This college has a decent placement record. The highest package offered is 7.6LPA. Companies like Google , Deloitte , Amazon , Infosys , Wipro , etc. come to the campus to pick excellent students for their company. The college also has a dedicated placement cell which helps the students to prepare for placements.

This college has decently good packages both the average package and median packages as well as almost 80 percent studnets are placed before the 4th year ends...if I talk about my branch the median was 11 lpa and almost 90 students were palced out of 120 in 2024

Placement Experience:

The placement process is began and ended only in third semester as forth semester is for internship. Mostly the companies from tricity visits here like edifecs, chicmic, inno8 etc. MCA students from PU Chandigarh, regional center (Hoshiarpur and Muktsar) students and MSC students sit together for the placements. The highest package from last year was 17 LPA and this year till date is 7.25 LPA. Average package is 4LPA.

My Honest Review for P.U.

Placement Experience:

The semester in which students are eligible for campus placements vary from department to department. In my course, students are eligible for campus placements in their 3rd semester. For the 2022-24 batch, 17 companies visited the department for placement which includes American express, josh, mediatek and more tri City companies. The highest package was offered to a student by mediatek of 17 lpa. 63 % of the students gets placed from previous batch. I am planning to get a descent placement after the degree.

This college is the best college in northern punjab. Also my house is near to this college.The placement for nurses are best. Education is best quality. Best practical knowledge.
