Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is quite tough students have to give a lot of time to their education and learn and read a lot of stuff. There are projects and assignments with internal marking so they are important.

Placement Experience

Yes the college has a placement cell that look after the placement for the students and various companies and firms hire the students and offer them good salary packages. They also have good internship opportunities

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees was around 60,000 for one year and my course was of 5 years so I paid total of 3 lakh rupees.this is a big amount and expensive and not for everybody to afford but it's worth it for the education they provide

Campus Life

not many extra curricular activities takes place but yes they have and the college has daily scrub societies and associations and also various events are organised most of them are are workshops conducted by the authority

Hostel Facilities

College as a hostel with around 60000 for one year as the hostel rent. there was good and hygienic food provided by the mess and all the facilities were included in the package so that students can have total comfort

Admission

the college takes admission for the students on the basis of the marks that I have scored in an examination known as CLAT. This is a very famous law exam and college also take students on the basis of the common entrance test that they conduct for the students

Faculty

The faculty of the college is very good and all the professors are highly qualified and well experience and always ready to help to students in whatever way possible most of them are educated from top universities of the country

Kirori Mal - The way I see it

Placement Experience:

The placements at Kirori Mal College are respectable and are getting better. The fifth semester is typically when students become eligible for campus placements. Numerous well known bussineses like Deloitte, KPMG, EY et. Approximately 50-60% of students are placed through campus drives each year. The average package is approxiamtely 5-7 lakhs per year. After getting the degree I plan on applying for a masters degree in the same field.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum at DTU is quite relevant and comprehensive. The reason I chose this course was the mix of strong fundamentals in the first year—like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Programming—followed by department-specific core and elective courses that allow some flexibility and specialization. The curriculum gives a solid foundation for both real-world applications and further studies, especially through hands-on projects and lab work. That said, some areas could be improved, like including more industry exposure, internships, and practical case studies to bridge theory and real-world problems. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-terms and end-terms) and include assignments and projects as part of evaluation. While most exams are manageable if you keep up with the coursework, a few subjects can be challenging, and preparation is key to avoid surprises.

The course is good but placement is very bad in the campus. The frequency of exams is 2 hours or 3 hours depends on the credit of that subject. The exam level is of moderate level. We had pass the exam studying 1 week before the exam.

A students insight on his college

Placement Experience:

Eligibility is 5th semester onwards you can get campus placement. Deloitte, TATA, nestle, other big MNC's Highest is around 20 lacs and average is around 5 lacs. 60-70 % students get places but it can be higher or lesser depending upon the crowd of students , their talents. I think I would choose a professional course like civil servant.

A vibrant college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

as been from the science background I have deep interest in maths already, and I want to continue my passion for it. The proves the critical thinking the imaginary parts and the applications of mathematics. We see every day it motivates to think about these theorems. The curriculum of course is very good, but due to NEP, we have to study subjects like Hindi in our AEC which is very irrelevant to the curriculum and waste our four hours weekly in mathematics, we mainly deal in proof and theorem. There are very less real word applications that are being taught here. There are various areas for improvement like we can adapt the course or the curriculum.in universities like IITs,Cambridge Oxford and other big universities so that the placement and internship percentage can get improved in our college

Well I chose this college because it was ranked 13 in the NIRF law rankings 2021, additionally I'm a native so this seemed like a really comfortable option for me. Also, most of the law firms have their head offices in Delhi, you have your Supreme court in Delhi so technically I would have came back here for internships so why not just opt for a college here. USLLS, The delhi college life you aspire in delhi as a law student

USLLS IS NO 12 LAW COLLEGE IN INDIA

Basically, USLLS took admissions on the basis of clat score and you have to just fill the IPU University form with the application number of your clat exam and there and there is a reservation for Delhi candidates up to 85% so there is less chance for outsiders but if you have good rank in clat you can get uslls like I am outside Delhi candidate and I got that but I choose this over other colleges because of opportunities I will get here as it situated in the center of Delhi and near to NLU Delhi.
