Entrance Preview

I took ECET. It means Engineering Commen entrance test. This college is affiliated to Osmania university. It one of the rare and best college affiliated with Osmania university.

Course Curriculum Overview

Civil engineering. It has 4 years and 7 external examinations including laboratories. First year only one semester will be there and rest 3 years are divided into two parts and externals were held at end of semester after six months of starting.

College Events

Srushti,sangamam are the college fests which are conducted every semester alternatively. These both are cultural and technical fests. Students from different colleges will also participate in these events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is available for backward castes and economically backward castes. It's moderate,Not expensive. Management is also available so that seats were issued buy taking donations.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes they provide scholarship every year based on castes and economically backward castes. This is offered by government not by University or MVSR Engineering College.

Exam Structure

Exams are conducted at the place depending up on type. Labs are conducted in the college campus for viva lecturer from other Osmania college will come.

Faculty

Good experienced staff or faculty is there in our college. Staff is of almost all professors and assistant professor. Lab assistants were highly trained and experienced.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I felt that entire curriculum needs to be changed, since there are many useless subjects that are irrevalant to software engineering in CSE. I also felt subjects like c,c++, java needs to be replaced with python and web development subject should be replaced with something like nextjs. Initially I thought the syllabus and curriculum was good untill 3rd year of my Btech degree. The curriculum of jntuh is outdated in terms of real world. Teaching methods are ok though it needs minor improvements in some areas. The frequency of exams is same, you get semester exams and supply exams , you will have more chances to clear you backlogs, my advice is to clear backlogs in same year or try not getting any backlogs in engineering. timing of exams is usually after every 6 months out of which we usually have 180 or more working classes days. And in between we get sundays, holidays,events and other things. Semester exams are difficult especially subjects like mathematics or electronic subjects like ADE, which is irrelavant to CS.

Right Iam in 7 th semester ending,no company came to our college to recruit us.May be in 8 th sem companies will come.My seniors got in some companies like TCS, Infosys,Capgemini etc..with an average of 3.6 lpa.And all students did not get placed just 10 students in each class got placement.We need more placements to satisfy the students.

Placement Experience:

After the third year or 6th Semester you can take part in placements. There has been a lack of companies visiting this year. So far Infosys, accenture, cognizant, LSEG, Verisk have come for placements. The details are unknown to all the people but the highest package yet has been around 16-20 LPA. Unveiling Excellence- My Experience at IIT Hyderabad

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements Various companies like Google, Microsoft, Amaazon, Facebook, Uber, Ola, visisted and made around 300 offers in total, The highest package offered was 90LPA to a student from CSE and the avg Package was around 20 LPA Around 50% of the students got the placement this year. My plans after getting this degree would be moving abraod for a Masters Degree.
