Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus is prescribed under CBCS structure and the subjects are microbiology and phycology mycology and phytopathology economic botany plant systematics plant physiology plant metabolism medical botany nursery and gardening etc.

The college is developing it placement cell day by day to provide placements to the the deserving and willing students of the college of every department. And the science department students need the placement more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The admission fees the students have to pay is rupees 4555. The fees for 2nd 4th and 6th semester is rupees 3060 and the fees for 3rd and 5th semester is rupees 3955. There are so many heads under which the fees is divided.

Campus Life

The activities student are blessed with are Yoga training centre where students learn how to do yoga different seminars and workshops related to the department. There are different cells in which students are also required Lite anti ragging cell Health Care Unit women support cell etc.

Alumni/Alumna

Every year there is a reunion of the ex students on a particular date and on a particular time. This reunion is organised so that the students can enjoy and remember their happy days with their friends and teachers.

Admission

Admission in this college was done through online mode and I have submitted my all documents and uploaded everything online only and I feel it is very convenient way to seek admission on merit basis only by online portal

Faculty

Most of the teachers have completed their PHD and highly qualified in the respective specialisations but the teachers who are visiting faculty or part time faculties they have done only their Masters.

Placement Experience:

I'm not sure but I think from 3rd year we will be eligible for placements. There are many finance companies, banks like HDFC, SBI, Canara,etc... & companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Deloitte, PWC,etc.... The highest package last year was like 9.64 LPA & in the year before it was 10 LPA while the average is around 2-2.5 LPA. Around 20% of the total strength gets placement. Even only few % of the total strength applies for the placements. My plan is to take a placement if I can or if not then off campusing and then gather work experience & do MBA later which will give me very benifits.

Placement Experience:

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa 50% students were placed I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. I have also given CUET for pursuing M. Tech

The hustles and joys of a college life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had chosen this course because of the Media and the lab facility, and my desire to understand the entire course in journalism and mass communication. The course that I took gave a bit more theoretical aspects rather than the practical ones. The practical ones were a bit less compared to theory ones. The areas I would suggest for improvement would be to encourage more assignments and provide more internship facilities to the students. The frequency of the exams for me was okay, and it was moderate, not difficult.

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

Highest packages last year was 47 LPA (off Campus) 27LPA ( on campus). Average pakage was 5-6Lpa. The job role is Software Development. Percentage of Students Got placement is 92-95% In my Deoartment. Other is Around 70_90%. My plans to take placement from product based company.
