It was college to have the people who are looking in Karanataka. If any one is looking for placement point of view then this is the best option for them. I feel management need to thisnk about fee structure for course.
Entrance Preview
I took MCA/MBA entrance exam which is conducted by VTU university to get admission in top college in Belgium. To get admission in GIT college rank should be between 500 to 800. I able to manage 125 rank to get admission in GIT college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is best on industry requirement. As per current new all syllabus is re structured. Also from last year GIT is now autonomous. Major subject which is required for MCA course or computer developer is cover as expected by out side wold. This help me to keep strong hold over my first job as fresher.
Internships Opportunities
College internship I did in Vi2Web technology. I use to get 5000 rs as stipend and after my internship they offered me a job as a Java developer.Internship was the main part of my today successfully technical lead position.
Placement Experience
I our time there was around 10 company from different cities came for campus placement. End of our education i.e MCA last sem 70 % student was placed.
College Events
1. 25 silver jubilee celebration. (Lal krishna advani, Chetan bhagat etc attended the celebration)2. Every year avalanch(tech festival)3. Football 4. Cricket event
Fee Structure And Facilities
As per my person experience it was expensive compare to the other courses. Every year we suppose to pay university and college fee separately.
Campus Life
We use to have many compulsory competitions which help us to improve these skills.
Hostel Facilities
My native place is Belgaum so I use to stay with my family. I don't have any experience about hostel or PG. But I had hostel food and it was really good. Room were cleaned up properly and there was security for each new entry student.
Alumni/Alumna
It is good. I got many invitation for alumni meet up. Senior were good. When we joined GIT for MCA 1 st sem we got lot of session from our seniors. we use to have technical competitions.
Exam Structure
It was properly structure. I would say it is well balanced. Student will get all exam schedule information at the starting of the semester. This is help student to make proper plan for studies.
Faculty
All faculties were good knowledgeable. Help student to understand the technical concepts rather than theoretical. They will make sure about presentation skills, team role and other skills improvement.Provided choice to proved faculty feedback which help us to select proper faculty for subject. We had an option to select faculty for the subject.
