Remarks

Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences - [RMLIMS], Lucknow has given me an experience that I cannot forget my entire life and that I will always get through during my medical profession. With no ragging as a rule of the institute the seniors were super supportive and amazing.

Course Curriculum Overview

Medical Council of India arranges the course curriculum for the entire medical colleges in India. With almost 9 semesters of the entire course tenure, the examinations are held twice in one semester and weekly tests are taken.

Placement Experience

Students have to complete written studies of 4.5 years and then need to complete their one year medical internship for the degree after which they are free to practice as per AFMC. The duties are assigned in the college's hospital during the studies.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee Structure for Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences - [RMLIMS], Lucknow is 48000INR for one year which is quite feasible as compared to other medical colleges of India. The fee structure includes all the facilities except hostel.

I qualified the same examination with good rank to get a seat in government college. I sat in the counselling and was alloted RMLIMS.

In the present scenario, having practical knowledge is a must if you want to survive in the industry, which my college didn't prepare me for. However, there are various opportunities across the campus. We have AIC inside the campus, which may offer an internship to the students if they reach out to them.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year you are eligible for placement sheat in college. The highest package was 1.5 cr approx and average 7-8 lakh. Percentage of students to get placement should be around 1/4 of overall students means . I will apply for both on campus and off campus placement.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from the 3rd year. The placement of the college is decent. The average package for tech branches stands at 4-5 LPA. Most of the offers are made from mass recruiters like TCS, cognizant, etc. However, product-based companies also visit the campus but very few students get short-listed for them. The highest package for the 2025 batch was around 22 lakhs from JP morgan in which 2 students got placed. Microsoft also offered a package of 18 LPA. The placement percentage is around 50-60%. If you maintain 8+ CGPA and have the fundamentals clear then you can definitely secure a decent package from this college. The placement department of the college is supportive.

Placement Experience:

Actually we do internship in apex hospital and we have 100% placement. We have 100% placement here every year students get job in apex hospital and also in other places. But so such companies or anything come for placement. Average package is 5 lakhs per annum. After getting degree I will prepare for Norcet exam .

DR RMLIMS Lucknow College Review

So admission to this college (and in general any other medical college and course) is through NEET. After clearing the exam you are allotted an ALL INDIA RANK, which provides you eligibility to sit in counseling and select a college. Mine AIR was 4011 which is a very decent one to get admission to top medical College of countries. Since I didn't wanted to leave the state so I applied for counseling of the state. KGMC is the top medical college of the state. Earlier GSVM kanpur used to be the second choice for candidates,but from when this college came into existence (in 2017) it soon left GSVM behind and became the second priority of candidates. This small time growth of college fascinated me to keep this college asy second choice. Also the academics of this college is very popular for good reasons. I applied for two colleges KGMU Lucknow and Dr. RMLIMS Lucknow. I choose this college over other college because of its location, academics, good patient load, clean and green environment. Yes, i got rejected from KGMU Lucknow because of my low rank in NEET exam. A student have to get a NEET rank under 5k for general category to get in my college. Admission is done via NEET exam.
