Remarks

If you want to seek B.Sc. Agriculture from IGKV, start studying hard for CG PAT. And, I am very sure that you never going to regret that, you will come out with flying colors. IGKV is a bundle of golden opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is well planned and on point. A total of 4 semesters are there and each semester consisting of 2 internal examinations and one grand semester examination. The syllabus is not very hectic but sometimes it may be.

Placement Experience

4

After bachelor's, you may not get any jobs with high pay-scale but you can if you want, outside the campus, as campus does not provide the placements for graduates. Neither any internship program is been run by the campus but you can go for summer internships program somewhere else.

College Events

5

Every festival is celebrated within the campus premises. You'll feel like home if you are living far from it. Other than cultural events, academic events, and workshops are also being conducted for the better exposure of the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total fees for the whole graduation program are around 40,000, which is I guess very feasible as only around 10,000 for each semester. Else, the detailed fee structure you can easily found in the official site of IGKV.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

There are various funds that are preserved for the reserved categories in IGKV. Chattisgarh government has also proposed many schemes for the scholarships for the students, you may check that on the Chattisgarh scholarship portal.

Campus Life

Extracurricular activities, labs, sports are very well promoted in IGKV. As they are very crucial for the growth and development of the students. There are various student councils that organize these meets, workshops, etc.

Alumni/Alumna

Once in every year, the alumni/alumnae meet is been conducted so that the former students can introduce themselves with the present students, motivate them, inspire them, and interact with them. They are seriously very humble and helpful.

Admission

Indra Gandhi Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya is well recognized and very well known university for agriculture aspirants in Chattisgarh. The admission procedure for B.Sc Agriculture is through CG PAT, which is a state-level exam conducted by the Chattisgarh examination board. For getting selected you must score well in the entrance exam.

Faculty

5

The teachers are very helpful and generous. They are always happy to help, they are always there for the student's doubts. They have a very strong command of their respective subjects. They never feel low in delivering their lectures. The classroom environment is very healthy.

College is more like a school. You need to wear uniform anyhow, teachers are not friendly, more than technical the aproach here is academical, there is most chances that you will be debarred if you fail 75 attendace in each subject which means you will have to attend almost 95 percent to college working days. If you want to enjoy dont come here. This is very strict college. It takes fine for everything and will not allow you out of hostel after 6:30 leaving food time.
