Remarks
You will be getting decent education, and when I entered the college I knew I was not going to have any dreams of a happy college life. But having smart people around you really helps, and my peer group was really cool.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course focuses on reading original literary works of different classic and contemporary authors, poets, and playwrights. We also read the history and philosophy of literature and the contemporary language and grammar. We took the conventional written exams every semester.
Placement Experience
The placement cell of the university did not exist for us, and practically career opportunities are limited after my course. So I went for my masters, as did my friends, while a few went on to pursue professional courses.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is moderate, and I paid about three thousand rupees per annum. The fee is certainly affordable and the course justifies the already modest fee structure. You can also apply for the scholarships.
Campus Life
Though we did have a few seminars, and events, the college isn't very keen on promoting extracurricular activities. The library is fine, but there are not really those many clubs or student bodies you can join.
Admission
The admission is on merit basis, i.e. on the basis of the marks you obtained in your 12th boards. There are separate merit lists for different boards. So when your name is published, you will be called with proper documentation and then the admission is final.
Faculty
The faculty is fine, and we had interactive classes. The teaching style was a mix of conventional classroom teaching, and power-point presentations. We had normal lectures, and a few guest lectures
