Course Curriculum Overview

My course curriculum for the program of Bachelors of Arts is very chilled. We have exams at the end of each semester. During the practical classes we learn about the statistical approaches and environmental studies.

Placement Experience

University provides placement opportunities and arranges stipend based training sessions and workshops. These seminars and workshops helps the student in developing their all round performance . Nearly 60% of the students get placed on the first round of selection.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My entire course fees for the duration of 3 years in the program of Bachelors of Arts costs me rupees 40,000. The fees is much less when compared to other recognised universities across Jammu. My department holds only 25 seats.

Campus Life

Here on campus we celebrate a wide range of festivals. Students from each religion and caste participate in numerous cultural events. We all together celebrate each and every occasion with great joy and pleasure.

Admission

For admission into this prestigious University one need to qualify the entrance examination, CLUJET, conducted by University. Application is available both online and offline. After the declaration of result, the merit score card must be uploaded.

The faculties take proper care of their students. They never hesitate to solve our problems. Moreover, we are free to contact them even after our regular class hours. They are the real jewels of this cluster University.

My point of view on NIT Srinagar

Placement Experience:

In 7th semester we become eligible for placements and sit for on campus interviews . In mechanical ONGC , IOCL ,JSW , physics wallah , vedanta and for cse and IT there are companies like paypal , microsoft (internship) , increff etc come for on campus placement.

A student's perspective

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like google microsoft facebook vedanta have visited and offered an average package of around 10 lpa. Highest package is of 45 lpa and lowest of 8 lpa. There is 100% placements of students from core branches. After i get my degree i want to work in a tech company and learn about technology.

The life of student at NIT Srinagar

Placement Experience:

The college placemts is good the average is areound 10lakh per annum , the comapnies that visit for placements and internships are VISA , MICROSOFT, PAYPAL, GOLDMANSACCHS, NVIDIA, CISCO, WIPRO , L&T , PHYSICS WALLAH, INCREFF , other startups etc. My plan is to crack on-campus placement from a good company.

NIT Srinagar - A Beautiful place but Underwhelming Experience

Placement Experience:

Placemets start right from your 7th semester. Most comapnies that would come here would be like vedanta , ashok leyland etc etc who mainly do mass hiring, th no of offers are quite low as for durig my time most companies qul do diversity and hiring would only select girls and the girls were low in numbers as compared to the boys so each girl recieved atleast 2-3 offers while rarely a boy would even rev=cieve a single offer. The highest package was offered by Vedanta but it was 13 lpa in ct in hand it would be arond 5-6 lpa , the average package was also the same around 5-6 lakhs per annum. Percentage of students placed would be around 30 percent but they inflated the numbers heavily but showing only the students who were eleigible as boys were mostle ineligible. My plans are to look for masters somewhere abroad.

IIM Jammu is a spring breaker!

Placement Experience:

Till we are doing BBA there are no placements but from 4th year we are posted directly for MBA and then the placement eligibility starts. Average is between 10-15 lakhs and many prominent industries which we have heard of have started coming to IIM Jammu. Also, placements record were nearly 96% at IIM Jammu.

Placement Experience:

You can get a job here after completing MBBS or md. Can go to any hospital or open your own. 1.5L per month is avg for a doctor. Starting around 90k a month. Internship gives 28500 per month. No batch has currently passed out from this college . Comparatively new college. 2020 batch(oldest batch) still doing internship.
