Ggm science college : yay or nay.

The teachers and the curriculum is top notched, the field trips are what made me convinced for this course. Although the curriculum is decent they could include some extra curriculars in the schedule, that would be great. The exams are not that difficult, you have to give minors i.e. mid sem exams and then end sem exams. Mid sem are of 1 hour and end sem are of 2.5 hours.

The college provides an intenship. In the fifth sem and it is based on the skil subject you. Choose in the starting of the college year, the internships are a great way to prepare the students for the real world.

My course is bachelors in geology .The fee for one year is 11600 aprox and it stays the same throughout the course. You dont have to pay any other charges apart from this. Overall college is pretty decent and the faculty is also nice and helpful.

There are a no. Of clubs and other things like NCC and NSS etc. The sports also have ahuge impact on the kids here, a no. Of groups and clubs are also run by students . The library is accessible for everyone and almoat contains all the books related to the courses offered.

This is one of the most reputed colleges of jammu and also offer a huge variety of courses to choose from. The admission is pretty simple and everything is online except the final admission, for that you have to visit the college and then its all done.

In each major, there are almost 60 students, which makes a pretty decent student tu teacher ratio. My major's proffesors are quite helpful and friendly. The exam are of moderate difficulty. The course curriculum is very relevant and updated .

The college has a hostel for boys which is pretty decent and afforable, fee being approx 7k . The campus timings are 9 to 5. Yes, the locality is safe to roam around and there are two cafetarias in the college which serve decent food .
