Course Curriculum Overview
A medical curriculum can never be short and precise. So, the college has a detailed syllabus that is taught to the medical students. The syllabus is obtained from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science, Karnataka.
Placement Experience
Placement and job opportunities are the key features of the college. There is a possibility to get hold of a job in minimal time period with a decent salary which is approximately around Rs. 40000/- per month.
Fee Structure And Facilities
There are only a handful of colleges that are found to be teaching a specialised postgraduate course in Bangalore. As the facilities and infrastructure requirements are necessary for my course, the fees per year is Rs.1.33 lakhs. Indeed, it is a costly affair.
Campus Life
In the name of extra curricular activities, the only option given to the students is different games of sports. I never had interest in sports so, my extra curricular activities did not really exist on my resume.
Alumni/Alumna
The college had documented the name of its students with all their information, when they started and when they graduated however, there is no information about their placement. Moreover, there is no association formed by the college to keep in touch with their alumni.
Admission
To begin with, I was ready and prepared to take up a super speciality postgraduate course. To get admission, I had to take up the entrance examination and a counselling sesssion. There is no doubt that the entrance examination would be challenging as only 8 seats are available for grabs. So, make sure that your preparation is completed before time so that, you have time to revise.
Faculty
The faculty needs improvement as they tend to load the students with tons of assignment and projects and don't prefer taking any doubts into consideration. There have been times when I had to repeat my assignment from scratch as I misunderstood the assignment and nobody cleared my doubts.
