Course Curriculum Overview

Master of arts in English is a post graduate program which has the duration of 3 years and follows semester system. The course structure is very interesting and requires lots of understanding. The days are chilled and exams are also not very hectic.

Placement Experience

Ma in English is a higher education program but it does not provide with job opportunities. The students often pursue higher education and they get into education sector and even government jobs. The students are however provided with the necessary assistance.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the MA English is 20 thousand which is very feasible as per the demands and popularity of the course among the students. Hence, it will not be wrong to declare that the fees is affordable as per the education and facilities provided by the institution.

Campus Life

The institution is good in its education and also extra curricular activities. They have well established library and infrastructure. They also celebrate national festivals. Gender ratio is quite good. There is no discrimination on any basis.

Normally from third semester student become eligible campus placements but most usually take placements in fourth semester or fifth semester The percentage of getting placements are about 60% The highest package per company usually was ?80,000 per month and the average is around 20,000 Per month My plan is to get a job of a construction firm for about one year so that I can collect good amount of experience and they will hire me because I am passout from this college because this is one of the most reputed college after one year or two year, I will try for government exams or some private companies like Gautam farm, et cetera

The facilities are too good in that area , this college is reputed since my parents young age . All the teachers are well educated in those subjects, they even wrote books we can get from Amazon, they are experienced teachers.

The students who are appearing for the 7th semester end term examination are eligible for the campus placement drive , eligibility varies as per the companies eligibility criteria, main factors are CGPA score of the particular student. There are many companies who visited the campus for placement drive but the main companies who visited for campus placement drive are : NRL( Numoligorh Refinery Limited) ,ONGC( oil natural gas corporation) etc , the highest package offered was 24 lpa by NRL and the offer was got by 8 students and the average package of our college is 7lpa approx

Assam University is a good University

Placement Experience:

The placements are okay okay. Not very good companies come to recruit students of final year. Only MBA students get a high package salary in a good company. Other departments don't get these much of placements as compared to MBA.

I applied to a few more colleges, but I'm stoked I got into this one! The campus vibe and academics really won me over. admission process for my college is a bit lengthy Generally, it involves submitting online applications, uploading required documents, and taking entrance exams.
