Remarks

College Management was good. No complains about it.

Entrance Preview

I took CET exam and I scored around 75% in PUC. And my ranking was around 18000. I love science so I choose this particular branch.

Internships Opportunities

In college we did not had any Internship. There were no stipend offered and we had our project outside our college. I did the project in Electrical and Electronics field. I took help of my friend.

Placement Experience

Placements were good in our college.There were more than 100 companies. Package depends on the company.More than 200 People got placed.Someone used to have more than 1 company offer.

College Events

There were many events. Fest - which had Dance, Drama, Singing etc.There are very big event.Each year some famous celebrity was the Guest of Honor.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was less because I studied in Gov college. Easily you can study without much burden.Its feasible. Other than CET fee we used to pay just 10000 per year

I don't know about that. I have not got any scholarship. I have not taken any loan. I don't know about that. I have not got any scholarship.

Campus life is good. We had labs competition.we did not have any facility for robotics. We used to have debates and other activity. Extracurricular activities were there.

I stay at home. I don't know about the hostel facility. I stay with my family, I did not have any food

I have good friendly relationship with seniors. They are very good and supportive. They used to share their experience and share books, notes and others.

Exam Structure

Exams was fine if you are well prepared. Lab exam we had both Internals and Externals. It depends on the sub also. Some sub will be tough and some will be easy.

Faculty

It was good. We used to have good lab faulty. They used to answer for all our queries. Lecturers were available and they used to clear our doubts. We had many labs and lab test was good.

My plan is to work for 2 years and continue with higher studies and focus in research based area which increases the job security and salary

The Reality of Studying Here

Placement Experience:

from 6th Sem u are eligible to sit for the placement. A lot of companies come to the college i don't focus on company name my focus will be on the CTC and average is 4-5LPA and the highest package was 20LPA. but very less student get placed because they don't have proper technical skill and the one who have skills they are placed in our college. before getting a Degree i need a job from Campus Placement this is my plan after getting Degree let's see I haven't made any plans right now.

The highest on campus package this year was around 64 LPA, while as far as I know, the top 20% of the students usually get offers in the 16-24LPA range. MVJ college of engineering has a good Placement record, for branches like CS and ECE The Placement activities are handled by Placement Cell, which begins preparing students from 6th semister through aptitude session, communication skills etc They maintain good score like 60% and above academic percentage the students are eligible for placement drive from 6th semister onwards At my time at college some 10 companies visited the campus Highest package from my batch is 5L per Annum Most placement are in roles like developer and Networking side for core branches they get opportunities in design, testing and maintenance roles Overall MVJ provides good placement opportunities

A Bangalore blend of academics , placements and campus life

Placement Experience:

KSIT has an average placement rate of 70%-85% depending on the branch . CSE,ISE and ECE branches have higher placements while mechanical and civil have fewer opportunities in IT sector . Average package is about 4-6LPA . KSIT attracts many IT based recruitiers with some core companies for non -IT branches . It also provides pre-placement training, coding boot cams, aptitude tests and soft skills development . Alumni network is moderate, but students need off-campus efforts for high paying jobs

• I got my seat through KCET exam, so basically in my order priority UVCE was the 5th college and I knew that I'll not get the other 4 colleges because I knew my score, cutoffs of those colleges and my category reservations too well. Why I chose this college was simple, I knew for a fact that it was affordable. • Coming to the rejection part it was never like doorstep rejection it was just the feeling of shit-I-wanted-it. As they say, whatever happens it happens for something good, and now that I see how the colleges I happened to get are charging, I feel good for not getting in. • The admission process began when KEA website announced the 2nd rounds results of KCET and opened the admission portal. We had to pay fees to the KEA portal and generate a payment receipt/challan after that we'd recieve a admission order, then we had to go to the allotted college and show the admission order and go with our attested documents signed sealed and present it and tada admission done....Read More

I got admission in university of visvesvaraya college of engineering bangalore through K-CET in 1st round.
