Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is well defined as it contains a one year compulsory internship provided by the college which is an important part in this field. They conduct regular exams to check your grasp of the knowledge.

Placement Experience

You may join any healthcare institute or choose from a private or government hospital to work with. Besides this, you will undergo a compulsorily internship of one year provided by the institute itself for which you get a stipend of Rs 10,000

Fee Structure And Facilities

?1.62 Lakhs is the tuition fee per year at KPC Medical College and Hospital. This is a private college but still its fee are low. The fee per year may change if you opt for facilities like hostel, and mess food.

Fees and Financial Aid

Students can apply for scholarships on the basis of their economical status, or to the category they belong to like SC, ST, or OBC. These scholarships are provided y the West Bengal State Government only after proper valid verification of the proofs submitted by the students.

Campus Life

Various events are organized here all around the year. These events are fresher's party, Cultural festival, Blood Donation Camp and events on republic day, etc. There gender ration here is like 45:55 (boys: girls).

Admission

It's compulsory for you to give NEET UG exam that is conducted every year with physics, chemistry, and biology as the disciplines. This college also takes into account your 10+2 marks which shouldn't be less than 50%.

Faculty

Faculty is very cooperative and helping clearing all the doubts. They have high experience of both teaching as well as of treating patients on hospitals. Their mentality is like, we need good doctors for the mankind hence they give their best efforts in teaching us.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of the course is pretty nice with diversified subjects alsong with specialization subjects in the 3rd and 4th semester. Some compulsory subjects include Tagore Studies and Basics of Communication. The course also includes Development Communication, Online media, Journalism, Gender studies, Advanced Audio Visual Production. The department is well equipped a mac lab but it only have 5 macs. The curriculum also includes Design, UIUX, Graphics design etc, and the curriculum is continuously updating with moden media teachings. The curriculum mostly prepare us for Academic Purposes than Industry.
