Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus for the course is designed perfectly by the faculty members which would help students to understand the concept of fashion and the technology used to design fashionable clothes. Apart from that examination is held every semester in two assessments i.e. internals and externals.

Placement Experience

NIFT is one of the finest universities for fashion and various companies visit every year to recruit students and provide them jobs. Apart from that institute also provides students with internships which help them to gain experience.

Fee Structure And Facilities

NIFT provides students with high-quality education with advanced facilities to students the fee might be high. The fee structure for the course costs around Rs 2.5 lakhs per year. This amount for me is affordable but if you find it expensive you can avail aid or scholarship.

Campus Life

NIFT consists of a recreation zone where there are various clubs and committees in which students prariticpate and organizes various activities every semester. This provides a good opportunity for the note to learn outside the classroom and have good fun.

Admission

To get admission to the university you have to apply bu filling the online admission form from the website. After that, you have to appear for the entrance examination and if you clear it you will get the seat in the university. After that, you have to visit the college and submit your documents.

Faculty

Faculty members of my department are highly knowledgeable and very ardent about their jobs. They help students with their doubts and try to teach them in a very conceptual manner. Apart from that practical training is also conducted by the faculty members for students.

My College Journey

Placement Experience:

At the end of 4th semesters students will be eligible for placement Drive. University placement cell start training at the end of 2nd semester by taking Mock interview conducting mock placement Drive and many more so that when students sit in the On campus placement Drive they can grab placements according their skills and Courses. Approximately 80% students get placed in On campus placement Drive. Highest package is 18 Lpa and lowest is 2.5 Lpa. If I get my dream job I will take it otherwise I prepare for Government exams.

Unfiltered review and reality of My College

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.

The Eligibility is to pass 12th board and clear the NIFT entrance exam to enter into the college . You can find the form and all in the NIFT website and apply for around Oct - Nov and the exam would be conducted in btw Dec - Feb ,it happens once in a year you can approach coaching centres of needed.
