Course Curriculum Overview

3

As the faculty teachers and all the staff was very good and the faculty teachers of the science were very fabulous in education causes me to choose this course... The curriculum here was in terms of social interaction was ok but it was not that good for the future real world academic pursuits as their were not that much activities for the social appearance... In terms of course curriculum and teaching method this college doesn't need much improvements because it is much better according to teaching method , as the teachers were good in terms of teaching... The timing and frequency was having much gap between one semester exam and the other semester exam , so there were not much difficulty in giving exams according to my perspective...

Fees and Financial Aid

During my BSC course I paid 10000 fees every year semester wise , all the fees including registration, admission fees , lab fees and development fees were included in semester fees... My batchmates who were from sc category were having half fees than ours , like they were giving 5000 per year Scholarship were given to every students 5000 per year...

Campus Life

4

The festival was happening in my college was in diwali time and on the republic and independence days were celebrated and the main festival was our annual function which was happening every December month at the end of the year ... Our library was full of every needed and good knowledge books which was very helpful in our exams ... There were only fans in terms of technological provisions in the classrooms ... There were not much extracurricular activities in this college and mostly in terms of sports there were some cricket matches and sports day only one time in a year, so the extracurricular activities was not that much good in this college... Yes there are some students who runs their page in our college name and they provide every basic need to all students like all the notifications of the college and their experience of studying in this college...

Admission

I applied in kumoun university in uttarakhand college and my admission was confirmed there although I have taken classes there for some days .. but I choose this college over that college because of some place problem and also this college provides exam in semester wise but in previous college there were annual exams .. No I was not rejected by the other college but I didn't want to go to college which was out of state so I left there... The admission process in my college was according to percentage of 12 class which was above 50 percent (was the eligibility criteria) of my course . There was not any exam for my course I got admission according to my percentage and although the admission process was very smooth and easy and my experience for the admission was good...

Faculty

The faculty of the whole campus was very nice , the faculty was very good to all the students and talking about approach the students approach to the faculty teachers was much near and and was very comfortable to talk to any of the teacher I liked most the science faculty because I was the science student and the teacher were very good to students of the science faculty as compared to any other facilities and majorly the science faculty was good with other faculties, I didn't like the commerce faculty because the staff of this faculty was very short as compared to other faculties and it was also very far from the main campus of our college so that the strength also was very short in commerce faculty... There were two exams per year semester wise, each semester contains one mid semester test and after that the main exams with practical exams included, semester exams were not that hard it was average because we have the idea of exam through the mid semester exams... The students mainly get fails in maths exam or in co curricular subject which was the main qualifying subject but the strength of fail students was less according to pass students, the course curriculum was good though...

Night Life

5

There was not any gym in our college but yes there were canteens and cafeteria in a very good condition and also the Library was also good students used to go to library and read their types of favourite books and students were also enjoying the canteens and cafeterias... The hostel timing was 6 to 10 no students can roam around after 10 except hostel .... The famous hangout places around our college was the canteen students used to hang out in canteens in their free time and other the most famous place was the panipuri corner outside the college as it was the very famous panipuri corner of our college... Yes our college was safe and secure to also roam around at night because there were high security 24×7 and no outsider can enter our college at night without anyone's permission so it was safe though at night also...

Course Curriculum Overview:

Go for interest when an option is given to choose between a subject Some courses are taught useless as they have no real world application or any use in that field The curriculum could be a bit less because it'll make easy for students to gather with interest, the knowledge Timing is given for preparation of the exams and are moderate to difficult.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose bsc bioinformatics as I love programming and research sector as I took pcb in 11th ... I couldn't go for btech ... But then I researched and found about this course which need computer skills with biology background.. a perfect match for someone like me.. after the pandemic and technical growth in biology sector .. bioinformatics became one of the most growing area .. In india it's rare to find people know about this is even a sector so yeah less competition and big opportunities to work abroad .. But I am pursuing this course in this college which have very bad curriculum..the faculty isn't proper to teach us about bioinformatics and we are just study the syllabus of biotech in a mixed class ... I will rate it's a bad idea to pursue bioinformatics from Swami vivekanand subharti university...
