Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum Framework represents the State's vision, mission and educational objectives without which training is going to be a goalless, directionless operation. The agency serves as a quintessential element in improving the state's educational activities. The course had many activity oriented practices. Exam is conducted semester wise which was easy for us to study and cover up the syllabus

Placement Experience

4.5

At our institute, we had reasonable job prospects. For Campus collection, several companies used to come. Career guidance was provided for the development of teaching skills and other capabilities. Although placement is not 100 percent but all the companies that visited our institutes were reputed firms. Internship and training was provided for developing our activity skills.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure was 60,000 affordable by students. This was the only reason I preferred this university for my graduation. One good thing about the payment of fees that we were allowed to make the payment semester wise, which was very feasible for me. We were also given time for payment if we couldn?t pay on time.

Campus Life

In addition to daily studies, the university faculties often allow their students to pursue several extracurricular activities supported by the college. I loved my university events, it provided great opportunity for us to learn more instead of just sitting and listening to the lecture. Such facilities help the students huge relief from their busy schedule of studies. Our college had a good big field for supplying students with sports activities. We played basketball, football and badminton. Every now and then we had a lot of departmental sports and competitions which helped us to improve our skills.

Hostel Facilities

The SCERT hostel facility will allow students to experience a completely residential way of learning, even if they're away from home. This is to allow the students to concentrate on overall self-development in the academic environment characteristic of a high-quality college of professional training. Separate well equipped boys and girls hostels with all forms of modern amenities such as gym, water cooler, health care service and many more.

Alumni/Alumna

Our alumni network is good in terms as they regularly arrange get together and also arrange many social activities. Due to busy schedule I have little contact with my aluminies. But whenever I get time I try to visit my juniors and help them out with their projects. This is one of the excellent facility available in the college.

Admission

Admission to the various programs of the State Council for Educational Study and Training New Delhi (SCERT New Delhi) is strictly conducted by the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University General Entrance Exam (CET). For this, firstly, visit GGSIPU's official website. Fill out all the information in the application form and upload the scanned copies of the correct documents as shown in the brochure. On submission of the application, the registration I?d and password will be generated. Don?t forget to make the payment of Rs. 1200 application fee prior to last date. On submission application form is received. Based on the CET marks and rank seat allotment is done. I secured 75% mark and got admitted for B. Ed.

The teaching standard is excellent and strong. Most of the faculty members have been graduated with their doctorate degree in their particular field. An industrial visit will be held each year.

I feel like the curriculum is a little out dated and boring but due to a good faculty it makes the course more worthwhile The curriculum is very text based and less practical and more emphasis on bookish knowledge persists still .

As per I've heard, placements here are decent. I can't say for sure because I'm new here. About my plans, I am doing CFA side by side because I don't believe that a bachleors degree has any valur of it's own, one needs to pair it with something else.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As a person who wants to build a strong foundation in both economics and mathematics, B.A.(Hons.) Economics was my first choice. This course not only provide valuable insights into how real world economics work, but it also has great career prospects. Students studying economics major actively take consulting, research, risk management as popular career choices. Since this is a practical course with a broad focus on mathematics, the difficulty level is from moderate to high.

Students after completing third year are eligible for placement. Placements start before starting of fourth year, and it requires students to have no backlogs in any subjects. However companies can imply their own rules to filter the students such as minimum CGPA criteria. But placements of our college is one of the best placement for a non-IIT college, despite having so many student intake.
