The training and placement cell is committed to providing a career to its students. This Cell coordinates various activities related to the placement of the students along with Industry internship. Titan, Bata, Flipkart are amongst some top recruiters.

Fee Structure And Facilities

B.Des. in Footwear Design and Production is a full-time course of 4 years. The fee of the college amounts to around 8.4 lacs INR. The fee is feasible and justified keeping in mind the facilities provided by the university.

Campus Life

FDDI-Kolkata campus has a comprehensive library encouraging an environment of learning and research. We also have Design Labs which provide students with computers equipped with applications.

Admission

I got admission to the college through counseling based on the rank/ score/ marks obtained in the All India Selection Test (AIST). The registration for the same can be done online by uploading the required documents.

Faculty

We have well-qualified faculty members. They combine theoretical knowledge with practical sessions to ensure the understanding of the subject. The teachers focus on imparting more skill-based knowledge.

Honest Review about Praxis Business School

Placement Experience:

The placement record in my college is preety good. 80-90% students are already placed this year. Average package is around 9.5lpa. Companies like ICICI, KPMG, PWC, Vedanta, Mother Dairy and so many are coming for recuiting students.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement is a race here. Handfull of good companies with good roles will come but they take good chunk of students. So be prepare for that and don't worry about getting good companies, here many companies offers better packages than those good companies.

The life in HITK

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

A Deep Dive into JGEC

Placement Experience:

From 4th year the students become eligible for on campus placements. Few companies that visited are BEL which offered 12lpa , wtw which also offered 12lpa , TCS which offered 9 lpa highest, and many more . Highest package offered this year was 54lpa by Microsoft (off campus) . On campus highest was BEL which offered 12 lpa , the average package is around 8 lpa . My plan is to prepare myself for government exams and get a job by the end of my 4th year .

IIT KHARGPUR- WORTH IT?

Placement Experience:

from 7th semester (for btech students), 9th semester (for dual degree students) students are eligible for campus placements. there are numerous companies which visit the campus...and generally nearly all students get placed during the placement season, but recently there has been recession and companies are not taking less number of the students than they usually do.

There is an All-Indian entrance examination for all the courses offered in FDDI. Although, our batch (2020) got in by their 12th results since entrance exams couldn't be held due to covid.
