Course Curriculum Overview

The course is very vast and there is mainly learning by way of practical knowledge, the course contains a lot of research based concepts which are taught in labs by the professors, being a Ph.D course most of the assignments revolve around submitting research papers to the professors.

Placement Experience

5

The placements are good and the placements for last year were around 100% which indicates that students don't really have a difficulty in finding jobs here. The institute facilitates the placement procedure by organizing workshops and fairs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is feasible and the students are not subjected to any kind of financial burden, the fees per semester is Rupees 50,000, making it Rupees 3,00,000 for the whole course. The fees structure is feasible and the value that the institution provides is worth every penny.

Campus Life

The college environment is a bit formal and students are required to be attentive in classes, however post classes the students usually relax around the campus and chill. No such student clubs are present as the institution is research oriented.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network of the CFTRI is amazing, the alumni community is close knit and they have there own website, where the current students are provided with assistance in finding jobs and internships.

Admission

I had started preparing for the Entrance exam well in advance considering the amount of seats for the course, so my hard work paid off and I cleared the examination then came the time for the interview, which wasn't easy but I somehow managed to crack it and was granted admission into this great institution.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty of the college is highly skilled. Students are taught with utmost sincerity and dedication, teachers come up with new and innovative teaching techniques to ensure that students understand the concept and don't lose interest.

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists
