Course Curriculum Overview
The course is a minimum 2 and maximum 4 year long. The exams were always conducted on semester basis and the subjects were always knowledgeable. When I was about to get admission in this college, I had a thorough research on the syllabus (posted on the official website) and it intrigued me.
Placement Experience
As this college is for distant learning, the placement and job opportunities are not available. Although, once I was graduated from here, I was eligible to take up a job as a content writer, researcher, or teacher.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The course fee for every semester was Rs.2,000/-, excluding the application and registration fees which Rs.300/-. It is payable through a payment gateway available on the official website using debit card or credit card. Students can also pay through Net Banking. The procedure is simple and the fees is minimal.
Campus Life
The study centers are available at different locations Vidyapath Road, Salt Lake City (Main Campus), and Barasat. There although, I never found any extracurricular activities but the place had all the study facilities available for us.
Admission
The admission procedure for this college was quite simple. Every course required a different eligibility criteria. For MA in English, a degree from any recognized or UGC institution is required, whether Indian or Foreign.
Faculty
Since it is a distance learning course, I haven't personally met any faculty. But the distant communication was always great. They taught us through some videos and in case we had any doubt, we could have a chat with them. It was always convenient and the teachers were helpful.
