My experience in Rabindra Bharati University

Dislikes

  • The classes are long time there is Just 20 minutes break over 11to 4pm class
  • There is no canteen in the college or any free time spending area in the college there is only one girl's toilet

Course Curriculum Overview :

The English subject is eligible for all the State exams And I am preparing for NET. the curriculum prepares me for real-world applications or further academic pursuits frequency and timing of exams are very fixed time

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

We took admission by paying rupees 3400 We have 6 semesters in total courses per semester we have to pay 3000 rupees this is paid as examination fees. Others cost we have to pay for the tutorial this is not mandatory for all. No such scholarships.

Campus Life :

The Rabindra Jayanti, holi, or the various Bengali cultural program held in the campus. For academic benefits and future performance seminars on various course-related topics are presented among the students the student personal groups are very active.

Admission :

Anyone who has passed a bachelor course with 50% marks is eligible. But he/she should be passed out not more than 2 years before of the date of application. There is more than 400 seats in the main campus and there is a process of direct admission after fee payment.

Faculty :

The faculty-to-student ratio and its impact is very good in my learning experience. The faculty members always make our mind and talks about various job opportunities after master's degree and how things work on

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum really helped me learn aspects about various papers and even detailed knowledge about certain parts of literature which is very rarely focused on by others was covered here and helped me get a few pointers for UGC NET.

Placement Experience:

For other skill-based courses placements start after the second semester. For theory-based courses like ours, we can start the placement process from sem4 if we are able to manage the dissertation process and the internship simultaneously.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to study film making and advertising which prompted me to choose Mass Communication. There's less effect of the curriculum in real world application. Teachers need to look beyond favouritism and teach according to modern day technique. Frequency of exam was like 5-6month sometime it took 7 month sometime 5 month. Difficulty level was high.

Placement Experience:

From the 4th semester, students can avail themselves of placement. Different NGOs visit for my course and MNCs as well. An average of 2-3 LPA is offered. Maximum students get places. I chose to pursue on digital marketing and content writing field.

Remarks:

The quality of teaching imparted in this Institute is high quality. Timely publication of research and is a hub of research opportunities. The food available in the canteen is also cheap. However, the physical infrastructure of this University is sometimes lacking and the washrooms are also seldom not clean.

Remarks:

Overall my experience is very good. The Govt. funds allocated to education should be increased to give the best minds of this country a well equipped support structure to guide them to excellence. Also, the campus needs more cleanliness and awareness drives for social and political sensitization.

Remarks:

Pros- Great environment, one of the most vibrant campus lives there is and there is a lot of freedom and autonomy about the space. people are encouraged to think freely and pursue their interests beyond academic aspirations. A lot of students have gone on to do wonderful things in completely different fields than their initial association. Great placement facilities ensure that you also pass out with a job.
