Experiencing SRISHTI

Our course was a continous self-learning one. It was set up by the Mysore University. It was important that we participated and collaborated. The course was trans-disciplinary and was self-directed. We explored real-world challenges and developed a deep understanding of theories and practicals.

Though the placement is not very vast students are employed by many private or governement organisations. Many cultural organisations, not-for-profit initiatives, research institutions and others would actively employ our students.

The total fees for my two year course was about 8,54,000 rupees, which could be paid in instalments. The amount according to me was reasonable as students could learn so many new things and also had amazing exposure to the field.

Seminars and workshops are frequent in the college. We have a thriving cultural environment where you can participate in many activties. The college also has many centers to help teach and make the students more aware about their future.

There are many hostel builings and PGs nearby the college for students to live in. The pgs are all nearby the campus and have been appointed by the college. They have great facilities and good rooms. They also have amazing wardens who helps us with any difficulties we have.

The admission process was quite easy according to me. We wrote the SEAT entrance test and submitted the graduation marks as well as the SEAT scorecards. They let me know that i got in. The entire process was not a big hassle.

Our teachers were all very qualified and dedicated. They made sure we were comfortable and felt very welcomed. The entire experience with the teaching was pleasent and i really enjoy conversation with them. They also made sure they were accessible to us at all times.
