Course Curriculum Overview

The college management has formed a very good course curriculum for the students. There is a practical approach with the academic and there is equal focus on the research. Exams are held semester wise.

Placement Experience

Since colleges new there are no placement as such that could be mentioned. But there are placements and good internships with decent stipend which students can found with the help of the college authorities but not the placement cell.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is slightly high. The fees for my integrated course is 28000 for the first year followed by 19000 for the second and third and 35 thousand for IV and 25000 for the fifth year. Students who can't afford fees are given grants.

Campus Life

The college focuses on the extra curricular activities as well there are a lot of sports tournament and competitions for the students in various fields. There are workshops and seminars held for the students.

Hostel Facilities

I have rented a PG outside the college. It provides very good food for both vegetarians and non vegetarians. The available on sharing and also single rooms are provided. I am paying 6000 rupees for a who on sharing and some additional for the mess food per month.

Admission

The admission is through the entrance exam taken by the association of of cultivation of science. You have to get good marks in order to get into the institution. The institute is new and hence provides a lot of facilities and has good infrastructure.

Faculty

The college has one of the top faculties in the country. The faculty holds work experience of about 5 to 10 years. They share the experience and guide us during our stay in the college so that we can become better in our fields.

GO FOR IT!!

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are several prospects, especially peer-to-peer counseling, where you get a mentor. We call it mentor mentee program. So, there will be groups of students, and each group will have a mentor who helps you whenever you face any issues whether in real life or in your academic journey. They’re always there for you. There are also remedial classes, and extracurricular activities are included in the curriculum. You even get the freedom to choose what you want to pursue creatively, like joining poetry clubs and similar groups. Right now, I’m at Banaras University, and the curriculum here is really good. We have sessions on public speaking, how to conduct interviews, and many other practical skills. These are highly commendable because they help you in professional situations like the one I’m in now. However, I would say that teachers could be a bit more active with electronic tools like using PPT presentations or audio-visual methods instead long lecture sessions. As for exams, I wouldn’t say they’re too difficult because there are many weekly assessments and sessionals, which actually help you evaluate yourself better.

Placement Experience:

After 7th semester companies started coming and there is different criteria for different companies like some company have criteria for more then 8.5 cgpa will be able to seat only in their placement conducting it is totally based on company preferences. The highest package was 9 lpa and average package was 3 lpa. Around 60 percent student get placed in my department.

Placement Experience:

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of my college is very strong.From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements.There are around 50 companies visited in the college such as TCS,Intel. Microsft. Deloitte,etc.205 students are placed in TCS in year 2019. 415 students are placed in campus placement last year. Maximum CTC was 25 lacs/pa and average CTC was 5.5 lacs/pa previous year.After Jadhavpur University,the average CTC of the college is higher than IEM. Above 95% placements for IT,CSE and ECE students.There are around 55-60% placements in other department.My plans are doing some great things after getting the degree.

I had applied and got into st.stephens, delhi(bsc chem), jadavpur uni(be,mme), nit durgapur(bs chem), iiser tpt and bpr(bsms). left stephens because the course at iacs or iisers were more relevant to research. didnt join jadavpur cause didnt wanna do btech. didnt join nit since its expensive, and i believe iacs or iisers are a better option for bs, left iiser because its expensive and i got into iacs before i did to iiser,and they are pretty much similar as ive heard from professors and seniors...Read More
