Remarks

I have been missing college terribly for the past year! This is the place that taught me to live on my own. This is the place that taught me to fight my battles. I first tasted professional success here when I was placed on the very first day!

Course Curriculum Overview

It is a 4 year course, divided into 8 semesters. We learnt industry specific subjects like Database Management, Operating System and Data Structures to help us get through the placement season smoothly!

Placement Experience

4.5

In NEFTU, the vision of the institute is very clear! They make sure we get well paid jobs and almost all my classmates got hired by MNCs! Microsoft, Toyota, Infosys- all these world famous brands come to recruit from NEFTU.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Compared to the Arts, Commerce and Science courses in the college, the fee is high. But you have to keep in mind that varied labs and placement training is also included in our case. The total fee is Rs 1.6 lakhs.

Campus Life

There are students from different cultures and communities studying in our college. The faculty has always made sure that no discrimination is done and there is a strict anti-ragging policy in place for this!

Admission

The IT industry has always interested me and so I always knew I wanted to be an engineer. So I sent scanned versions of my original documents and then applied online. I was overjoyed when I came across my name on the merit list.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty are all engineers in their own right and most have M.Tech degrees to their name. They know exactly what questions are asked and what skills looked for in placements. So they make sure we're all set!

The Electrical Engineering course curriculum is quite comprehensive, covering key areas like circuit analysis, electronics, and power systems, which has well-prepared me for real-world applications, although incorporating more hands-on projects and industry insights could further enhance its relevance.

The campus scenario is improving day by day but it is not still upto the mark. Many companies come for hiring but most of which offer only average package of 4LPA which is very less compared to other colleges. Highest package ranges from 8-10 LPA.

The placement are very good here. I have joined recently so yah I don't know much about the highest and average placement of the institute. The highest percentage among all is from mechanical. The students of mechanical engineering had a higher percentage of jobs as compared to other branches. I will do M.Tech after my B.Tech.

The college takes in students on the basis of the scores in CAT or GMAT. I got admission in to the college through my CAT score. I secured 88 percentile and then went ahead for the interview round after getting selected. Then I could qualify in the interview round too and got admitted into the college.
