Remarkable experience

It is designed in such a way providing detail view of computer applications. The focus is made on particular areas such as computer fundamentals, hardware and software; programming languages and networking. Both practical and theory class is provided equal weight age. The exam is conducted semester wise with two internal exams for improving students score in the main exam. Lectures, practical workshops, internship, assignments and mini project is included in the course.

The number of students placed in our senior batch class year was around 90%. The entire course has campus placement but for computer science engineering, the scope to get placed is high. The seniors got placed in good IT firms. Many went on with higher studies and few opted teaching field. Internship is also provided in the 3rd year to make us familiar with the existing industry patterns. After internship, students are supposed to present in groups about the topics undertaken in internship program.

A calendar of accepted Cultural Events is prepared and published every semester. Further activities are applied to the calendar over the course of a semester, when they are accepted. The management strives to give its students an atmosphere in which we can develop ourselves in both cultural and academics. The students passing out are all-rounder? cultural involvement which is beneficial in future.

The fee structure varies for different courses. For my course the fee for 4 years was approximately 1 lakh. Completing an engineering course at such a low fee structure was the main reason for students to opt for this university. I was the topper of my class last two years; therefore I got the merit based scholarship. 50% of my fee was provided as scholarship.

Students have opportunities to take part in inter-college activities such as quiz, debates , sports tournaments. We have workshops and seminars conducted regularly. The lab and library facilities are appreciable. The faculty and their passion for teaching is noticeable. Modern teaching methods are used by the faculty for better understanding of students.

I was a hostel student. Hostel facility was mainly given to first year students. We were provided all the facilities in the hostel under the strict invigilation of hostel warden. Particular time was allotted for each activity which helped us from not getting distracted from studies. Safety of students is given much priority by providing separate ironing room. I really enjoy my hostel life. It is very clean and the mess food is also good. We are provided both vegetarian and non vegetarian food.

The application can be submitted online or offline. I did online application. The eligibility criteria for my subject are 45% mark in class 12th with PCM. The candidates should have also passed JEE main with a good valid score. The candidates selected have to appear for counselling for verification of documents once their name is enlisted in the list.

The basic requirement of a computer science teacher is to have good knowledge of coding. Yes our faculties are very good in programming language and I being a biology students to grasp. The basics very easily because of their detailed explanation of syntax and its use. They don? teach very fast they give time for us to write code first ask doubts and then proceed further. In computer science if basics is not clear then there is no use in doing the course.
