Course Curriculum Overview

In research field it is good course to solve the problems in Agriculture sector. Lab works and feild works are also present in the course . We have to give 2 semester exams in a year . Our practicals are taken very seriously . The agriculture course will really grow in coming year .

Placement Experience

We have really good placements as compared to other agricultural universities . Various fertilizer companies like Indo Gulf visit our campus . At my time the placement were a bit less but now college is focusing on industrial development of students so that they can get placed in different companies .

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college is really accessible to poor sections as well . The fees structure is very feasible . The amount is kept very low that even a poor family can afford it . I belong to financially backward section and I didn't found any burden on paying the fees.

Campus Life

The college really focus on holistic development of the students . We have different cultural events during a year . The freshers party is one of them . Our college really have a good cricket and football teams . We focus on sports and exercises as well . Yoga sessions are also taken in my college . The college environment is very good and the gender ratio is equally better .

Alumni/Alumna

When I was new in this college. I was little bit scared whether the senior , professors and staff members will be helpful and cooperative or not. But as the day passes, I got to know they are so well mannered and humbled nature person. The alumni corner of our college is very active and helpful . We often get to interact with them through their guest sessions on career aspects.

Admission

I got admission to the college on the basis of rank secured in ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) exam . You can fill the online application form on the NTA website . You can check the cutoff for the college on collegedunia website itself .

Faculty

In my course there have 9-10 subject per semester , maximum teachers are doctorate , teachers helps our so much and they are so much efficient in lab work . Their behaviour is so polite & they treat us as their children . Teachers are so friendly and also very nicely skilled.

Likes

Environment is good, the overall environment is calm
The hostel is good, it is hygienic and provides regular maintainence
The campus feels quiet safe and have good security with strict regulations

Dislikes

The network connectivity is not up to the mark
There are very less number of cultural events taking place in this college
Hectic study schedules which leaves no time for extra curricular activitoes

Placement Experience:

Placements of thos college is quiet good Many big companies provides internships and placements This year also quiet many students got placed TCS visited the campus for hiring Average packhage is 15 lakh per annum

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

Life at SRM.

Likes

A good and friendly environment on campus where students from all around nearby cities and states stay together in harmony.
Interactive classes and faculty is also very supportive.
The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

I liked the faculties of my college they are very supportive and helpful towards the students.
I like the curriculum which more learning based then theory
I like the support that is provided by the college towards the placements of the students

Dislikes

I don't like the attendence system of our college it very hectic to students
There is lot of focus on exam in my college which I don't like
Syllabus are not updated in our college we are studying very old things

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for this course because I want to be a software engineer. I chose my course because it was well-informed, and my interest was also in this field from the start. The faculty members and platform were also quite good for nurturing personal skills and making one a skilled and disciplined person in life. I wish this course would focus more on practical things rather than being theoretical. Events, fests, and the campus environment are also very good and pleasing to the eye. Connectivity was also easy from all around the world due to its location. Scholarships were also awarded to almost every student.

Decent Opportunities in Emerging Domains and Exposure to Hands-on Project

Likes

There are very good and highly qualified Faculties for each subject.
There is lot of clubs and groups which give exposure to the students.
Location of College is best in Greater Noida

Dislikes

There is little busy management and take time to respond query.
Highly busy schedule of college timings.
There can be delay in examinations from its expected date.

Placement Experience:

Placement in GCET is one of the good In greater Noida colleges. The average package of this college is 4-6 L.P.A. Companies like TCS, J.P Morgan, Josh Technology, L.G etc visited every year. Mass recruiters like wipro,infosys,capegemini also visited every year. About 85% students every year placed from the college. After getting degree my plans are getting very good placemnt from this college.

Likes

Infrastructure and college staff support

Poor management regarding any issue and problem
iCloud app not working properly and full of glitches and bugs
Slow process and management takes a lot of time to do work

Placement Experience:

In my college placement is good and increasing every year as I have heard from s masters senior in past 4 days 1000 students have been placed and placements are still going on and there is a dedicated placement cell in our college and also skilled students can get upto 40-60LPA and average is 6-7 LPA and my plans after degree is to go for masters as I have intrest in MTECH too and 60-70% gets placement and it's still increasing and companies visit such as wipro hcl LG delloite etc

My Engineering College

Likes

I liked the faculty here, they are well qualified and experienced
The way the faculty is trying hard with the students is very good.
Students are good here too they are cooperative with each other.

Dislikes

Library doesn't open after college hours.
Less events organised here in comparison of other engineering colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i did diploma in computer science engineering so after that i chose to do BTech in cse for better opportunities. Here I am really learning some computer languages by which I am making some projects. Exams timing is they held in evey 5-6 months.and this is a decent time to prepare for the semester exams.

good exposure for kids to grow and flourish. Good student crowd. People from all different backgrounds are there and students are mostly smart and are willing to learn new things. Overall good exposure for students
Good cafeteria will reasonable food and both north and south India food options
Regular events and seminars are conducted with guests lectures

Dislikes

Very pricey fee structure, fee could have been a little less
Attendance policy is very strict and follows mandatory 80% attendance
Placements are not that great as off now

Course Curriculum Overview:

I Would say that's it's average. Like other colleges only. However one good thing is we have one or two elective paper almost every semester in which we can choose particular subjects according to our interest.

The college of my dream

I preferred this college on the top over others during the choice filling and luckily I got it. I chose it because it's a central university, with pro level of infrastructure development, and also the fee structure is quite affordable over others and also because of its location. Experience of mine

I choose this college because it's a central university and I thought it would be better to graduate from a central university rather than any other state university. I opted many agricultural colleges and got nominated for this college at first round of councilling . I freeze it at sight . I didn't get rejected from any college. You have to apply for the CUET examination and score around 350 to 400 marks then you can get seat in agriculture department. Admission process is too long for my season....Read More
