Remarks

The college has really fascinating and cheerful environment all around the year. The most interesting thing is that we have various Fashion Shows, Exhibitions where we sell what we have made during our practical exams, nice and well-maintained hostels and so many things.

Course Curriculum Overview

Well I just love my course curriculum especially the practical part where we have to sketch, design, cut clothes and make something new. Our course curriculum is very creative and innovative as well.

Placement Experience

The placements and job-opportunities for overall college departments are quite but Design students have great scopes compared to others. But the college doesn't offer internship programs, while interested students can do their own internships with some other companies for experience.

Fee Structure And Facilities

NIFT, Shillong is one of the best ranked college in the world, so obviously the fee structure might be a little too expensive and dramatic for some students to waive it. But the fees can be paid semester wise and students can avail any loan. The fee organization for my 4 years degree graduation is in total Rs 11.09 Lakhs which also includes tuition fees that changes according to the years we go in, exam fees including other fees.

Campus Life

When it comes to extra-curricular activities, we not only have seminars, practicals, sports but also have fascinating projects to do every year. In these projects we bring in to life the sketches we have made, we also have demonstrated classes from master artisans, craft persons etc. We learn so many things from these projects and trips.

Admission

To get admission in this college I had to undergo three steps of entrance exams after I had completed my 10+2 exams from a recognized board. I had filled the admission form and waited till the dates of Examination. The first entrance is CAT followed by GAT and a Situation Test at the end. As I secured eligible marks and my name was on the merit, I got admission here.

Faculty

Faculty members are just amazing and very friendly as well. They also have very contemporary and beautiful design in their minds from years of experience and skills which they impart to us. Some of the faculties are also professionals in the field of design.

campus placements are okay, it is improving over time... averagely people get placed at 7-8 lpa and some people get placed at 12lpa. Many students go for off campus placements and there they perform very well. students have secured 22- 28lpa off campus.

Placement Experience:

Yes placement's are there because it's a NIT From 3rd semester you are eligibile to apply for internship and from 7 sem you are also eligible for campus placements Many companies visit our campus for the placements some famous names of coma pansies are adobe amazon flipkart Mahindra infosys tata black rock etc and the no of offers made differ each year but the average of offers remains 150plus Highest package of our college is 51 LPA Which is bagged by a cs girl this year from Amazon and the average package also differ by the branches but for mechanics and cs branch a the average package is as good as 10LPA Percentage of students greeting placed is very good for the mechanical and cs branch like 95% placements are there and for others branches also 70% placements is there So placements is not a big issue in this college ???? My plans are simple Mai have to maintains a good ointer to be eligible for campus placements and get a good job and settle in life

My life in NEIGRIHMS till now

Course Curriculum Overview:

I took admission in MBBS in NEIGRIHMS in 2021. Through my journey of three years and more I found that the faculties in NEIGRIHMS here are veruyhumble and kind. All the professor are very supportive and Good to everyone. NEIGRIHMS is not like others colleges . I personally feels lucky very to study in these college. Teachers here are very humble and they teaches very good . The way of teaching is excellent. They also interact with us . They always help very students in their academics. NEIGRIHMS being a central college the professor here is also very professional and prove in very steps that they are so qualified that they teaches us very well. I am very proud to be here and feels very lucky. NEIGRIHMS is also very beautiful place and campus here is looks amazing. There is greehy everywhere and flowers are blooming everywhere. They really care about environment and plant many trees every time. The campus view is very amazing. Students should really come here and enjoy the beauty here.

Internships At NIFT

Nift is the best and topmost college in India. Nift Shillong ranks 3th last on the top nift campuses. The teaching staff is amazing with the best-qualified faculties. The environment is very inspiring and beautiful but it is away from the main city so it is isolated. You can apply for nift Delhi placements from Shillong as well hence it is the best college.
