Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of the course was very well designed and we used to have much free time after attending all the lectures and labs. The duration of the lab was also fine and never resulted to be hectic. The subjects were chosen according to the current scenario and in a way that they are useful to us.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement opportunities are very good in the college. The students are placed in several reputed hospitals including me. Various hospital management teams visit the campus and around all the students with 80% marks had got the placement.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee was quite feasible and was not that much expensive. The total fee of the 4 year course was about 4.92 lakh that is around 1.23 LPA. The fees was affordable and there was an option to pay it Semester wise so that it was not a burden on the parents. The student could pay the fee in two installments.

Campus Life

The extracurricular activities were amazing. The labs contain almost all the equipments and the sports facilities were also good. There were all types of sports facilities from basketball court to fool all court to cricket ground. The library was big with a lot of books. Their were different books for the same topic by different authors.

Hostel Facilities

The college provide hostel facility even I used to reside in the hostel. The hostel were very good and clean. The rooms were quite spacious so that we can accommodate ourself. The mess was also good and the food was delicious. The hostel rooms were of two types one equipped with fan and coolers and the other with A.C. the students could chose either of them according to their need.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, the alumni and all the senior students were very supportive and helpful. The college used to arrange different seminars with the alumni students so that they could guide us about the job opportunities and we could learn from them.

Admission

The admission was based on the entrance test. I filled the application form and gave the entrance exam. On the basis of the scores in the entrance exam a merit list was prepared and luckily my name was there in the list. Then I visited the college with required documents and finally got admission.

Faculty

5

The faculties of the college were very good. They were always supportive and had always guided me towards a better future. They were very helpful and always helped us in clearing our doubts and queries to the best of their knowledge.

We were offered placement assistance as it was an online program and i really think it is a good initiative because college are least bothered for placements for their online programs. As i had to pursue a career in marketing i started doing projects and internships in marketing and sales domain.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.
