Course Curriculum Overview

MBBS syllabus is under three subject heads, namely, Pre-Clinical, Para-Clinical and Clinical. The syllabus included in these subjects are microbiology, biochemistry, anatomy, pharmacology, physiology and pathology.

Placement Experience

Placement is very good most of the students get placement while doing internship. Mostly students go for MD or MS course after completing MBBS and some students are working Provate Hospital with minimum annual salary of 6 lacks.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I was paying 6.5 lacks rupees for one year. The fees structure is worthy even if it is expensive as the infrastructure and education quality is too good. Students get good placement after completing MBBS from here.

Campus Life

College have very big groud to play, Gender ratio in my department is 60-40, there are 60% boys and 40% girls. College have indoor and outdoor games Facilities. Collehe conduct sports championship program.

Hostel Facilities

I am staying in hostel our hostel rent is not very high and the food is very nice in our hostel we enjoy a lot in hostel we have playground evening time we play. Hostel environment is very good and I made many friends here.

Admission

To get admission in MBBS, after qualifying 10+2 I have filled application form for NEET examination and I got qualify for NEET. After qualifying NEET exam I decided to take admission to this college. To get admission here candidate should have 50% marks in 10+2 with biology.

Faculty

Faculty of my college were very good, all teachers are very experienced and they teach well. They provide an best environment to learn and make able to understand the things and topics with live demonstrations and practical.

Good campus life with decent academics

Placement are decent.Many companies visit the campus,but getting a good package depends on your skills and performance.Teh university also provides training support. Some companies like Deloitte,nexity consulting,Bigbasket,zepto etc visited are campus.

The curriculumn of chandigarh university is releavant and covers core subjects with projects and labs. It support basic industry readiness, but pratical exposure can improve. Exam are held mid and the end semester with modern difficulty. More hands on experience and updated technoilogies would enhance overall effectiviness and career prepartions.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum needs to focus on what you can do with information rather than the information itself. I wouldn’t eliminate content, without background we cannot form good, rational, and educated conclusions. We are still giving timed tests in math facts! I know that’s traditional, but it just isn’t as important. My era had no calculators and we needed to be proficient at paper and pencil solutions, but now, perfect calculations are available to everyone. We should focus on what kinds of problems can be solved with mathematics. Spelling is equally less important. Vocabulary should be stressed. My sister years ago was taking a test for a personal assistant position where she was asked to type a large number of words per minute error free. She was laughing at such a test. She said no one does that anymore, they just type then run spell check. Technology is changing our NEEDS opinion is that curriculum should reflect our reality. No one gets paid to solve problems that have already been solved. Students should be exposed to solving problems they have not seen before but that can be solve with the content they have learned in class. This will help them develop problem solving strategies they will be able to use the rest of their lives

Cmc - a feeling in itself

I was getting pims jalandhar , dmc ludhiana and cmc ludhiana. However i went for cmc ludhiana because first though pims jalandhar was 20 lakh cheaper acadamics and patient load is very bad and dmc ludhiana was 30 lakh expensive than our college. I didnt got admission in gmc. For 40 lakhs it is worth for money. Admission happen through neet and it is on merit basis. However there is reservation for sc, obc , and christian students.
