Admission based on professional experience. The criteria is minimum two years of experience. However I had 9 years of experience when I have Joined BITS Pilani.
Course Curriculum Overview
The subject are up to date in the syllabus. It was great of having upcoming technology insight view in curriculum. We have four semesters and a project work.Each semester we have 4 subject and each subject we have to learn minimum 3 books.
Internships Opportunities
Since it was work integerated learning I have been worked in two companies. I have started course while I was working in Verizon and ended with Oracle.
Placement Experience
We had a very good BITS alumni portal. The portal is bundled with multinational company jobs. The most significant companies are Google, Yahoo and Apple.
College Events
We have a meet every year in particular city. The event is motivational with many cultural activities. During the meeting we can meet many professionals and entrepreneurs. It is good opportunity to get idea. The event will mixed with cultural programmes. Meeting is totally amazing.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees is very reasonable. I have totally invested 1.5 lacs. However the learning is awesome. It started with 30,000 initial fees and for each semester it is 25000 and it is totally managable.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have not availed any loan. However I am not sure about loan. In-spite of that office is ready to pay for the tuition fees. It was very encouraging for the students.
Campus Life
Labs are very very good. I cannot tell much on sport as it is a integerated learning. We had on-line collaboration facility where students can share their thoughts. I too interacted with many people and the course is very lively.
Hostel Facilities
During the viva session I have stayed in the BITS Pilani hostel. The facility provided is very good and even the food is good. The room is big one to stay 4 to 5 persons.
Alumni/Alumna
It was awesome, every day job opportunities from Google, Facebook. We do have a dedicated portal for the jobs. It is quite awesome to interect with direct technical people out there in big companies.
Exam Structure
Exam structure is different from other colleges. The exam is divided in closed and open book. In fact closed book is easier than the open book. It was quite challenging. On the end of the each exam one can learn a lot. It will outstanding on attending every exam.
Faculty
Faculty was superb, and we have every lessons on-line. Therefore we have live classes where teacher can interact with students. I had many quires on pursuing the course the teachers are very helpful in clarifying any doubts.
