Remarks

This is one of the best college in affordable price. Not every person can go to cities to learn undergraduate courses by paying expensive prices. This college is a boon to people who cannot afford such expenses, but still want their kids to get quality education. The campus life is enjoyable and very pleasant.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is decided by the The University of Burdwan, since the college is affiliated to that university. The course syllabus is structured well and the course is split up into 6 semesters for 3 years. The exam pattern is also decided by the The University of Burdwan.

Placement Experience

The placement of this college is not that good. One main reason is its arts and science undergraduate college. And many companies does not notice the presence of this college. But there are many brilliant students who get selected in off campus placement drives.

College Events

There are so many cultural events, competitions, national level seminars, and workshops are conducted by the college whenever possible. The college takes responsibility to call great inspirational and motivational speakers to conduct seminars and guest lectures.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for my course 2,800 per year excluding other extracurricular activities charges. The fees is totally feasible for a family to support their child to study a undergraduate course. The parents who be belong to poor financial background can rely on this college to allow their children to study undergraduate course.

Campus Life

The extracurricular activities are many in the college. Its endless. From the freshers, the college celebrates many festivals, conducts various competitions and seminars. It also gives vocational trainings to students and importance to sports.

Alumni/Alumna

The senior students are very nice and helpful. The college has great alumni association. Most of the alumni are successful people in their career who always come to college at times and share their stories with us.

Admission

The admission steps only involves the submission of your 10th and 12th details along with other personal information. The college will collect all your details and prepare the list of selected students and send the seat allotment letter for further proceedings. Students are selected purely on merit system.

The faculty present in the college are well educated and are the best picked. They teach the concepts in-depth and so well that anyone can understand. They clear all our doubts patiently and are not short tempered. They are easy to approach.

Likes

One of the things i liked the most was the quality of lecture given by the professors
The campus is very spacious the college has every facility
A fully equipted studio and lab for Journalism students

Dislikes

Things i disliked was the most has to be the locality the college is really nice but the locality is a bit shady

I always wanted to take up Journalism as a career and the thing which caught my attention in this college is that they have a fully equipted studio room and other colleges may have one but the students even publish there own news report here it prepars us very well for the real world

Supportive Faculty - The professors are highly qualified, approachable and always willing to help students
Free wifi support - There are free wifi support for both student and faculty
Fee Structure - It is very affordable and low compared to other colleges in the region

Dislikes

Placement support is below average, and most studnets have to apply for off campus jobs independently, which is really pathetic in the era of ai where getting a job as a fresher is so difficult
There is no dedicated support or placment cell initiative to help studnets land meaningful summer internships or any kind of internships

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements starting from the 7th semester. For placement drives, we have to visit the main campus, Techno Main Salt Lake (TMSL). Since students from other Techno India campuses and branches also participate, the competition is extremely high. In the 2025–2026 academic year, fewer companies visited. Only two companies, Dronahost and WishCare, visited our specific campus directly. The remaining drives—mostly service-based companies like TCS and EY, along with a few startups—were conducted at the main campus. The remaining drives mostly service based companies like TCS, EY etc and quite a few startups has visited to main campus. The package they offered mostly in between 3.5lpa - 6 lpa. Furthermore the selection process of those startups is quite rigorous often consisting of upto 5 rounds of interview, two technical rounds with two technical interviews, and HR round My plans after getting the degree is either pursue an MBA or preparing for govt jobs

The everyday journey

Likes

I liked the campus . Their people and faculties are too great , they are also helpfull
The other thing i liked here is the play ground where students play with full of their energy and many game events are organised ocationally
The other thing i liked is the library where everyone use to study silently with poking others

Dislikes

Bad benches , like benches are too small to be fitted in our class I
In our department ac doesn’t work properly

Nothing specific just the campus attracted me Curriculum is preparing me for the real world approach and its doing good enough the academic pursuits is good Teachers should teach in a good way so that every student should understand Frequently the timing of exam is 3 hrs but sometimes it takes 1 hrs

Faculties are helpful and kind and the classroom environment is healthy
Classroom, labs and libraries have proper infrastructure
Certificates are provided for participating in conferences or extracurricular activities

Placement Experience:

Placement is provided in final year . Average package offered is 3 to 4 lpa . Paid internship is provided in 3rd year and the placement percentage is more or less ok. After complication i will either pursue Msc or look for a job.

Likes

The campus is big and full of greenery with the vibrant feel of nature.
The students of the same batch are friendly and helpful.
The teacher's are friendly and helpful. They do provide helpful recommendations for the betterment of your future.

Dislikes

The seniors are overly harsh when it comes to 1st year.
The infrastructure could be worked on. The college lacks renovation.
The hostel does require everyday cleaning and renovation as well as the campus.

Placement Experience:

I don't know much about this but I guess from the sixth semester the students are eligible for campus placements. This year a student from AEIE got a package of 11.2 lacs per annum and the average is around 4 lacs per annum.

Likes

The faculties are very good and very active. They are always ready to help
Campus is very beautiful and nice. Campus may be a little bit smaller but it is beautiful.
Environment is very good. And have a natural's beauty

Dislikes

Location is a thing which may difficult to find out.
Number of faculties are small quantity due to the college is newly established
Because of the college is new so therefore not huge like any NIT or IIT

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There many service based companies visited like TCS ,Cognizant, wipro, Infosys. Almost 60-70% student placed in on campus. Highest package offered by TCS 9-10lpa and Cognizant 6-7lpa wipro 6-7lpa infosys 10lpa etc. 60-70% student getting placement I will go for placement

Placement Experience:

The University Provides Placements options for the students from the 3rd Semester onwards. For the Department of Geography Companies like - GeoDesign and Research PVT. Limited, Wipro, Acadecraft Pvt limited, Cactus etc. are there as recruiters with an average package of 3 LPA. University takes a target to 100 % placement among then almost 60% are placed and rest of the students mainly go to the research field.

Placement Experience:

Since the syllabus is quite up to date, students learn a lot and are way ahead of their age group students. Most of the students qualify for placements with attractive packages. The university also encourages internships that carry credits in their academic report.

Teachers are very good and the atmosphere of the college is very good, which helps students to concentrate on their studies. Each department has its own departmental library. And the college has a core library which has lots of books on each topic of each subject. The teachers of this college are very helpful.
