Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very well detailed and has a lot of subjects. The college has a traditional semester system and the exams are conducted in a timely manner and the results are also announced early. The course is not very hard, but there is fieldwork.
Placement Experience
For the Social work courses, field work is absolutely necessary and the college places you in very good NGO's that are working towards very noble causes. The college has tie ups with several different schools, hospitals, de-addiction centres, N.G.O.s? community and industry etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure s quite low. The Caution Deposits is INR 350, University.Dues are INR 900, Admission Fee is INR 10, Tuition Fee is INR 180, Establishment Fees is INR 690, Student Fund is INR 2030 and the Total Fees is INR 4160. Parctical Paper is Rs. 690 extra.
Campus Life
This is a women's only college and there are several different extracurriculars for the students. Music competitions are often held by the Music Department and the college has other events as well.
Admission
For admission you have to fill the application form and submit it to the college along with all the documents. The application form can be found in the college prospectus or from the college office. The admission is secured solely on the basis of merit.
Faculty
The professors in the social work department are excellent and they are always ready to assist you or solve your queries. They are all well qualified and are excellent educated, especially Seema ma'am. The faculty has a lot of field experience as well.
