Great Experience At KIIT UNIVERSITY

I gave competitive exams like IIT JEE KIITEE COMEDK in which the highest rank i got was AIR 579 in KIITEE which gave me a chance to pursue Computer Science in KIIT UNIVERSITY(KALINGA INSTITUTE OF INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY) as i was not able to elect CS branch in other colleges so i pursued CSE branch in KIIT UNIVERSITY.

Course curriculum had programming languages like C in the 1st semester to give an idea of programming languages and then PCM aside it and a subject of Electrical Sciences along. Then languages C++ Data structures. Database management core java were introduced in the later 3rd 4th and 5th semesters with maths along side and subject of electrical science like Digital electronics principles of digital communication was introduced in these semesters and from 5th semesters we are learning .

Many companies mostly startups came for recruiting students with internship offers for 20000 rs per month. The best offer was given by AMAZON which came to take 3 student by offering them internships which if they are able to cope will turn out to be a package of 13.5 Lakhs.

Placement is above 90% for the engineering stream as the maximum placement this time was 35 lakh per annum and average placement for the streams was nearly 3.5 lakh per annum with maximum job offered by companies like INFOSYS, WIPRO, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT with 3800 offers to place 2300.

In our university there are many campuses like management and medical for example so many fests are conducted inn a year.Some of them are-Kiit FestElectrifying festAnnual sprts dayIndependence dayRepublic day& many more.

For people of J&K there's a scholarship offer and for people achieving ranks under 500 in selection test would get 2000rs per month as a scholarship.

There are many events in college extra curricular activities are there as there are many society for debates,dance,drama,singing,robotics,labs are also good in all its a very good opportunity for a student to join a society of his/her interest and learn new things from it. There is no point being judgemental about one's race or cast or his/her religion as it's all cool here .

Exams and labs are in very schedule and per semester there are exams . As Mid semesters containing 40 marks out of 100 and rest 60 are End sems ehich happen at the end time of semesters. Labs are of 100 marks and are a separate subject and all in together make a hectic schedule.

Faculty is really good and supporting.They give us a great amount of knowledge for the subject and give a boost to our abilities. The faculty also looks out for proper discipline and also conducts a thorough study and analysis of the performance repoet of each and every student and giving. Their efforts to improve them and also analysing the course structure required and how is the subject helping for the students in improving their skills and knowledge.
