Entrance Preview

I had given KIITEE entrance exam in 2011 and I got Ranked 8564 obtained, 34 Marks and I had been called for counseling, My friend suggested me about, This college and got my interest.

Course Curriculum Overview

It is a deemed University course curriculum is good but not the best . Hectic exams schedule and lab viva would skrew up your mind . But after 3rd ye you can choose electives.

Internships Opportunities

You have to go various internships like 30 days summer training for at least 2 times and many other certification are required to get requiters attention.

Placement Experience

Frankly it is hunting ground for Non Core guys (Cs It Etc Eee ) But not good for core (Mech Civil & Electrical) but if u r willing to work in IT then it is worthy place .

In First year Tech fest held .Lots of compition and events were organised like counter strike Bridge Mania and lots more Singer Ash Kings came for the musical concert.

Fee Structure is very Simple but it is subjected to change batch by batch for me On Odd semester 135000 Institutal Fee (55000+80000)Hotel fee 30000Mess fee 30000Total of 195000 on every odd semester. And 55000 on every even semester Total of 1000000 For 4yr Btech.

Yes, If you are among top 10-12 Highest CGPA then around 12000 would be given to each and every students per annum.

Campus Life

I had wonderful experience when it comes to campus life I always enjoyed the moments in college campus. There is Very healthy atmosphere around you ..Good crowd very tolerant place.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities is very good all Ac /Non Ac rooms are well Cleaned and maintained mess is hygienic and food quality is also good each and every hostel free WiFi facilitiy are installed.

Alumni/Alumna

Kiit always conducts alumni meet for senior passout guys at different cities in India every year. Seniors were very supportive and they helped me to get acquainted with Hostel life.

Exam Structure

As always exams are not something which gives you pleasure 2 exams are conducted 1 midsem carries 40 marks and other one is end seem carries 60 Marks.

Faculty

Faculty is average some are extraordinary and some have not very good teaching skills more or less you have to study on your own. They are supportive and frandly you can ask them for any help.

A well rounded campus life with industry oriented growth in college

Placement Experience:

placement at cv raman global university are good especially for cse/it . student becomes eligible from the 7th semester and compinies like TCS, infosys, wipro,capgemini, cognizant and ibm visit regularly. the highest package is around 15 lpa and average package about 4 to 5 lpa . aroud 80 to 90 % of cse/it student get placed. while non core branch recive fewer core offer but still get it/services opportunities. after my degree, i pland to start my carrier to higher studies for making me as a proffersor.

The technical background and future influenced me to choose this course. The preparation for real-world applications or further academic pursuits are average. Theres no fair improvement needed in the course curriculum and teaching methods. The frequency of the exams are 2 sem exams and 4 quiz in class exams. The timings for sem exams are 3 hours while for quiz tests its 30 minutes. The difficulty level is average of all the exams

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

KIIT has lost it's eminence and it's fame for quality education and good placement records

Placement Experience:

Placement record is not so good.. companies like Microsoft and Google have blacklisted KIIT due to poor performance and mismanagement by the KIIT in providing with the right candidates. KIIT shortlists students in basis of multiple tests taken on platforms like AMCAT and on that basics provides the profiles of best performing candidates to the companies invited for campus hirings regardless of the field and job specifications and requirements, so basically KIIT has a very below average performance Training and Placement Cell as they lack decision making and management skills to segregate candidates for hirings according to their skills and not by their general scores and CGPA. NOTE: Companies have shown least interest in KIIT for last 2 years and the poor performance of previous batches and mismanagement by KIIT authorities. KIIT promises 100% placements but that is actually far from reality.
