NIMCET is the national level entrance to participate in NIT MCA course.12 colleges participating in this entrance including 2 Non-NIT colleges.

It was one of the nice curriculum among all NIT's and I would like to recommend people to choose NIT in their rank like NIT Tiruchi, NIT Warangal, NIT Surathkal, NIT Calicut and then NIT allahabad.

College internship experience is great, their faculties are more dedicated to teach student with practical approach. They gave better guidance to individual to make great professional career.Their is no stipend for Btech, MSc and MCA course but for Mtech, Mphil and PHD, course, they were offering stipend as per government rule.

Placement is very good in NIT Calicut. there are several top companies are coming like Amazon,Yahoo Goldman Sachs, Macfee, Oracle etc. Who are allowing MCA also to appear in placement. Highest package is 16.5 lpa in amazon Lowest package is 3.5 lpa.

We have organizing Nakshatra Event by MCA students. It is one of the great event ever for Non-Btech student. Around 400 students were participating every year to make this event success.

Fee structure is neither feasible nor expensive.MCA has total 6 semester and every semester has fee approx. Rs. 40000/-MCA college fee is Rs. 81455/- per yearTotal fee is Rs. 244365/-.

They have following scholarship which can make student to take advantage who are not good financially. Silver jubilee scholarship, Parent teacher Scholarship, MCA 96 batch scholorship etc.

Campus life is very good since we have 24/7 Computer Center to use internet. We have very good campus where we can play many sports event like Cricket, Badminton, Football etc .For extra-curricular activities we have Tathva event where we can have many actives like Game/Competative exam etc.

MCA is one of the great cource ever since All 3 years students are unite together and they are very good to help each other.We have NIT Calicut alumini association which help us to meet everyone.

Practicals and Exams are little hectic because Faculties are more concern about student career. So they take internal test and lab test on regular basis.

Most of the faculties has PHD from the top most university in world. They have practical approach to teach students, their . Faculties are most dedicated to take call regularly.
