I applied for NIT Raipur NIT Durgapur and NIT prayagraj I selected this college NIT Jamshedpur because it has top class placement and the branch I was getting as mechanical engineering which is a decent branch. I got rejected from NIT prayagraj due to little less rank . The admission process of my colleges you have to qualify JEE mains with around 95 percentile to get any branch as a general student then you have to go for Josaa counselling in which you will be a lot at the seat . 1.I choose this college because of its reputation over campus placements. It has high placement percentage. 2. I got NIT Jalandhar cse and NIT Raipur CSE but i preffered NIT Jamsedpur ece due to its high campus placement percentage. 3.The main entry for joining in NIT Jamsedpur was through JEE mains exam. I did choose this college because it is quite old and reputed, being a govt college it has lesser fees and offered good placements, I got IIIT Lucknow as well, but didn't opt for it as it was quite new and didn't have proper hostel and residence facilities at that moment.
