Course Curriculum Overview
The Course for the CLAT consists of 5 subject and it is total of 200 marks. 200 MCQs are given from English(40), GK(50), Maths(20), Logical Reasoning(40), and Legal Aptitude(50). The level of these questions are upto 10th class and legal aptitude is based on the logical application of mind of the candidate as per situation.
Placement Experience
The placement starts once students enter 8th Semester. Placements are more than 80% and before the end of one's graduation, if any student want to get a job, he definitely gets it. The College has its own Recruitment Committee which takes care of internship opportunities for its students. Yes, the students do get internship and all Law firms do provide good stipends
Fee Structure And Facilities
Though our college is owned by State Government, but it runs solely on it own and therefore the fees is more than what a tradition state runned college should charge. The fees for a semster is around Rs. 1 Lakh which does not include food charges.
Campus Life
We have very good mooting culture in our college. We organise Yuvardha, a sports fest and NH-65 cultural fest happen in every alternate year in the month of October. We also organise Debate Competition, Moot Court Competition and other competitions too.
Alumni/Alumna
As we don't have any formal or proffessional networking with our alumni, but we as students are in touch with our alumni. As of now, due to presence of social networking sites, it is easy for us to connect with them and therefore, yes itnis helpfu too as they help us in getting good internship and always update us about new offers.
Admission
The application process conducted by the university is offline. Selection of the candidates in BBA+LLB (Hons.) and BA+LLB (Hons.) program is strictly on the basis of CLAT and satisfying the eligibility criteria of passing 10+2.
Faculty
The faculties of my college are excellence in terms of their qualifications. The teaching methodology is very unique as they like to test all the students throughout the semester via Continuous Assessments, Assignments, Projects and Mid Terms Exams. There are other activities like Court Room Exercise which helos student in creating practical knowledge about law and legal arena.
