Course Curriculum Overview

The course structure was good. SInce I was in journalism a lot of field exposure was provided. Workshops were also provided and practical lessons took place on daily basis. The exams were both theory and practical. We had to make presentations too and perform mini projects.

Placement Experience

4

Placements were not that much. But some of us were placed in good companies with fine salaries. There were internships for students as well in summer. The highest salary was about 4 lakhs per annum for my passing year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees was cheap it was considerable with the amenities. The fees for other things like sports, labs, etc was also cheap. The management fees was okay too. overall it was affordable for all the students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships were provided only to backward classes and low castes. Even International students could get some scholarships. There were no grants for students of general category and other priveleged classes.

Campus Life

Sports teams were formed there were matches. I wasnt a part of sports team but other clubs and in the singing group as well. You could also join for debates, dances, etc and various competitions were held all year.

Hostel Facilities

The hostels were airy and there were rooms on sharing. The rents were okay. Food provided was tasty and all cuisines were provided and both veg and non veg food was served. The rooms were okay with toilets on sharing.

Admission

I got admission through merit. My name was in the first merit list. All I had to do was to fill the online form and then give an interview and that was all. Then we visited the college again for other formalities and paper.

Faculty

4

The faculty was very experienced. They knew how to work with camera and words and make good out of students. It felt like working with a news channel. They provided various group activities and challenges to students and participated with them.

The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

Doctor is a noble profession , the mere respect which we get by being doctor is one of the prime motive for me to pursuade this course Aside from physiology , anatomy and biochemistry we have a e t c o m which is a type of curriculum which is thought to us in which we learn to deal with different situations during our career and they also help us in terms of improving our communication which is very crucial In real life application .
